On 2005 Benelli has part of the QJIAN JIANG group, it is a Chinese group and because of its size and manufacturing capacity it stood had grabbed the first position in the motorcycle industry. It was able to produce 1200000 vehicles per year and almost 14000 employees worked in that modern factory. It is as large as a city which is located in Wenling, about 500 km away from Shanghai.Benelli is ready to take future challenges. On 1911 it was just a garage and they made some parts of car and motorcycle. But the ambition of then was bigger. On 1919 they have invented the first two stroke 75cc engine and assembled it on a cycle frame but the result was not satisfactory. On 1921 the first Benelli motorcycle was appeared and on 1926 first 4 stroke bike was made and it was a 175cc bike. From 1927 to 1931 they had produced several models of this bike. After that they had made 500cc and 250cc 4 stroke motorcycles. On 1934 they have introduced their two new racing bikes one 250cc and another 500cc. On 2005 it became a part of QJ group and win the best motorcycle exporter award.

On 2011 Benelli has celebrated its first century.
