2V or 2 valves

2V or 2 valves

In terms of motorcycle engines, valves play a major role in power generation. The valve is located on the camshaft of the engine head. The function of valve is to introduce air and fuel into the ignition system and expel the waste gas produced after combustion and keeping the path moving. The 2 valve engine basically works in such a way that first the air and fuel has to enter the ignition cylinder as required then the air and fuel are ignited by the spark plug to generate energy to produce waste gas and expel the gas through the exhaust pipe using another valve. The main definition of 2 valves is that there will be 2 valves. Most of the 100cc to 150cc bikes have two valve engines.
