Kerb/Wet weight is a bikes weight when the bike is on a ready to ride position. Basically the weight of the bike after manufacturing is not as same as after putting different types of fluid in it. So, the main measured weight is when we put different types of fluid such as petrol, engine oil, fork oil, coolantetc. in it and then we measure. In short, kerb weight is the gross weight of bike after putting every necessary liquid substantial in the bike. When a company makes a bike and measures the weight, it’s not the kerb weight, real name is dry weight. |
