The TVS Motor Company has recently launched a new 125cc motorcycle in the Indian market called the TVS Raider 125, and the new bike well represents the manufacturer’s entry into the growing 125cc commuter segment. The TVS Rider 125 has the ability to compete with bikes like the Hero Glamor, Honda Shine and even the Bajaj Pulsar 125. The TVS Rider 125 is currently available in drum and disc variants, priced at Indian Rs 77,500 and Rs 85,469, which means that it is equally important to all its competitors' bikes. So is the new Raider 125, 125cc completely different in the commuter segment?

Style
When it comes to styling, the TVS Raider 125 has a clear difference on rival bikes. Unlike other commuter bikes in the segment, the Raider is full of much more sporty design. It is decorated with a muscular tank, a stylish LED headlamp with DRLs, a slick belly pan and a split-seat.
Digital Instrument Cluster
TVS Raider 125 has an LCD instrument cluster with gear-shift indicator, distance, tachometer, speedometer, clock, odometer, fuel level etc. TVS has been given a 5-inch TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity, voice assist and navigation, which will be introduced in the upcoming month.
Silent Start:
This TVS motorcycle is made with a silent-start system, a feature we have seen on some scooters. This means that the motorcycle starts the engine without any sound.
Ride Modes:
The Raider 125 comes with first-class drive mode, including Echo and Power. The latter works to improve the pickup and increase the maximum speed, while the previous one improves the mileage.
Under Seat Storage:
The Raider 125 has a first-class under seat storage system. While it’s not as big as a scooter, but you can easily keep your smartphone, papers and other small things there.
