We’ve received some exciting news about a new addition to the scooter market from Hero MotoCorp. The company has announced the launch of a new model of scooter in the Indian market on various social media sites, named Maestro Edge125. It is the flagship scooter of the company, sitting above the Destini 125.
The scooter is a125 cc version of the Maestro Edge, sharing a large number of qualities with the model. The launch price of the model begins at Rs 72,250 or approximately Taka 82,450/- (Tax and Shipping Costs not included), with three variants available at the beginning- Drum, Disk and connected of rising price point. The model might come to Bangladesh very soon, so let us see some of its notable features below:
All versions of the model feature a 124.6cc BS6-compliant single-cylinder air-cooled which develops a power of 9 bhp @7,000rpm and 10.4 Nm torque. It also features a combined breaking system for both wheels as part of Hero’s Integrated Braking System. The fuel tank has a capacity of 5 liters, while the scooter itself weighs 111 Kilograms.
The standard features across all versions are: Projector LED headlight with LED insignia at the front and an LED taillight, which ensures that the scooter is well-equipped to handle the dark alongside i3S technology, an Eco indicator, real-time fuel economy indicator and a fully digital instrument cluster allows the user to get more mileage out of the fuel, and finally, side-stand engine cut-off system as an extra safety net to ensure the most secure rides.
For the Disc version, there is also Bluetooth connectivity for a smarter scooter, diamond cut alloy wheels for smoother and safer driving, a mobile charging port and under-seat storage for long journeys, making it excellent for those interested in adventuring far with their scooter.
The fully-loaded connected variant comes with the aforementioned Hero Connect system- letting you drive safer and smarter with your Maestro Edge 125.
