Indian Motorcycles in Bangladesh

Motorcycle history begins in the second half of the 19th century. After introducing this interesting vehicle its popularity begins to increase day by day across the world. Nowadays it is one of the best vehicles in the world including our country Bangladesh.

Bangladesh roads are best for motorcycle riding because this vehicle can perfectly adjusts to any type of roads in our country. Economical condition of our country is little bit lower than the others because of this reason our country people often gives priority to motorcycles. When our country people begin to ride motorcycles many motorcycle companies started to export motorcycles. Japanese motorcycles were very much popular among them. These motorcycles were very durable and stylish but the price of these motorcycles was much higher according to the budget of our people. Almost 15-20 years before Japanese company stop their motorcycle exporting to our country. After few days some Indian motorcycle Companies began to export motorcycles to Bangladesh. Since then they started their journey to our country and nowadays many different Indian motorcycle companies exports their motorcycles to our country and they also became very popular. Among them Bajaj, TVS, Hero, LML, Mahindra are most popular. They built stylish and durable motorcycles in reasonable price. That’s why many motorcycles of these Indian companies are found in Bangladesh. There are many categories of motorcycles which are available in our country. They are 50 cc, 80 cc, 100 cc, 110 cc, 120 cc, 125 cc, 135 cc and 150 cc motorcycles. So Lets see those motorcycles which are exported to our country by these Indian companies at the past and at present.

Bajaj
Bajaj Auto is third-largest motorcycle maker in the world. Bajaj Motorcycle Company was founded in 1930 in Rajasthan, India. They produce good quality motorcycle to their country along with Bangladesh. Uttara Motors Limited is the importer of Bajaj motorcycles in Bangladesh. Those Motorcycles which are found in our country of Bajaj are given bellow including their category.

100 CC
At this category Bajaj has 3 popular motorcycles they are Bajaj Platina 100, Bajaj Discover100T and Bajaj CT 100.

125 CC
Two motorcycles are available at this category one is Bajaj Discover 125 and Bajaj Platina 125.

135 CC
At this category Bajaj Pulsar 135 and Bajaj Discover 135 is included.

150 CC
Bajaj pulsar series is very popular at this side there are three motorcycles of this series which are available. Which are Pulsar as 150, Pulsar 150 NS, Pulsar 150. After that Bajaj Discover 150 is found by Bajaj Company.

Bajaj has made many different motorcycles but among them Discover and Pulsar series is very popular at our country and Bajaj pulsar 150 is the highest selling motorcycle in our country.

Hero
Hero Motocorp is the largest bike manufacturer in India. At 1984 Indian company Hero and Japanese company Honda started their journey as Hero Honda but at 2010 Japanese Honda company broke up with Hero and Hero company begins to manufacture their products with the name Hero. After that they produce high quality motorcycles for their own and for our country. Among them those motorcycles which they exported for our country are given bellow.

100 CC
At this category many motorcycle are provided by hero such as Hero passion pro, Hero splendor pro, CD Delux 100, splendor NXG, Hero splendor Plus and Hero HF Deluxe are much popular.

110CC and 125 CC
Hero I-Smart motorcycle is included at 110 CC category and at 125 CC category we have two motorcycles they are Hero Ignitor and Hero super splendor.

150 CC
One of the popular 150 cc motorcycle of our country is from Hero which is Hero hunk. Without this motorcycle some other motorcycle from Hero are available, they are Hero Xtreme, Hero Xtreme sports and Hero Achiever. They are also much popular 150 cc motorcycles in our country.


TVS
In India TVS Motor Company Limited, is one of the leading motorcycle manufactures. This company is first fount at 1978. Their headquarter is situated at Chennai.. TVS Auto Bangladesh Ltd is the main distributer of TVS Motorcycle in Bangladesh. This motorcycle company has also exported quality motorcycles for our country; those are given bellow with their categories.

100 CC
At this category TVS has few motorcycles. Among them TVS star sport spoke, TVS metro 100 KS, TVS metro ES and TVS metro ES.

110 CC
Three motorcycles are included of TVS at this category. They are TVS MAX4R, TVS metro Plus and TVS Jive(kick).

125 CC
At this category there are also three motorcycles are available of TVS. They are TVS Phoenix 125, TVS star sport 125 and TVS Flame SR-125.

150 CC
TVS motorcycle company has only one motorcycle series of 150 cc category. That is Apache series, few models of Apache series are available. Thy are Apache 150, Apache RTR 150 and Apache RTR 150 double Dick.

LML
Lohia Machines Limited is the full name of LML motorcycle of India. It was founded in 1972 at Kanpur, uttar pradesh.

As a Indian motorcycle company LML is not so popular as a brand in Bangladesh. They have exported only one of their motorcycle to our country that is LML freedom 110 it was first lunched at 2002 in India. Outlooks of this motorcycle was different from other 110 motorcycles. So the response of the customer was not bad at all.

Mahindra
Mahindra Two Wheeler Ltd has started their journey at 2008. this company produces motorcycles and scooters. In our country, Mahindra motorcycles are imported and distributed by Aftab Automobiles Ltd.
Very few motorcycles of Mahindra can be found in Bangladesh. Among them Mahindra Centuro N1, and Mahindra Pentero are included.

So from the above discussion we can see these Indian motorcycles are leading from the front at our local motorcycle market. Among them Hero and Bajaj motorcycle company are famous for their high quality products. Except all these motorcycles which are given above very few Indian motorcycles can be found at our country but they are not in the popularity list.
