If the intention is to return home on Eid alone or as a couple, then the motorcycle is a hassle free, avoiding jams is the best vehicle to go home independently.
First, the safety of the pillion itself must be done with utmost importance. A helmet is required for him and if there is a child with you all, a helmet is also required.
Remember, accidents do not happen by notifying you and therefore you have to take care of your own safety.

After the helmet, everyone should use shoes on the Eid journey with the bike, as much as possible everyone will start the journey with elbow guard, knee guard and by the name of Allah.
