In the time of 90's decade Japanese motorbikes were all in all. Honda HS100, Suzuki AX100, Yamaha RX100 were the king of that time. Beside these Honda S110, Honda CG125, Honda CD80 were also very famous. You can still find them on the road with proud air. After 90's decade Indian and Chinese bikes started to come in through the privet organization, previously Japanese bikes exported by Government organization names as “Atlas Bangladesh Limited”

Just only for few circumstances Indian bikes captured the market of our country. 1- Less export expense due to neighbor country, parts were available as well.

2- It was totally forbidden on the exporting of Japanese motorbikes, 2 stroke bikes also closed for different issue and no one try to export these later.

3- At the same time, Chinese corporate industries were very casual to export their bike in Bangladesh. Their focus only on the market of Latin area.

But now they are counting their loss. We have some heavy weight Chinese brand in our market but some of name/identity less Chinese brand makes a bad image in our mind on the Chinese motorbikes. On the other hand, Indian bikes makes a strong position in the market but many of their parts manufactured in the China and Chinese bikes making their heavy business in the Europe and America. Only because, they cannot make a good start in our country. Sometime we say about the Chinese bike that “Chinese bikes never live a long life” “there is no resell value of Chinese bike”.

The main scenario is different then what we are actually can imagine. China is one of the super power of the technology of the recent time. You cannot neglect their all rounding performance when they are ahead from all the side. At the same time, China is the only country who produce more then 30 millions of bike where 20 millions are produce by the rest of the world.

Yes, it is true that every one is going confess that Chinese bikes quality are increasing day by day. But not yet in the top which not means they can't. Whatever the brand you ride, some of the parts of it are made in China.

There is no way but to confess that, only a decade before China prefer easy rate bike then the quality. Actually they gone through a odd tactics of their business policy by serving some cheap product at first and gain the attention of their customers, gain a big amount of capital and then serve quality product. Just as like they done at the matter of Mobile/Cell phone.

The same thing they have done on the matter of motorbikes. In the region of Latin America, Africa, East Europe and South east Asian third worlds countries they have captured by serving cheap rate bikes. And now from the last few decade they are fighting with the Indian bikes in their own market specially in the Latin America.

“Marco Tarsa” is the corespondent of “ChinaMotor Magazine” in the Latin America says that, Indian bikes companies demanding the Chinese ground market. When the farmers have some extra money in their hand, they look for quality bikes at least better then Chinese low rate quality and the Indian bikes grab this opportunity very keenly. Chinese companies hit by a big hit with this incident and hence they started to improve the quality of their bikes. And now they charming again and again with the quality.
