Yamaha Riders Club is an organization made up of Yamaha motorcycle-riders. This club has branches in every district of our country. Nationwide their membership is about three and a half thousand. Club members participate in various positive social activities besides conducting various activities on motorcycles.
In continuation of that, on the occasion of 'National Road safety Day' on Saturday (October 22), Yamaha Riders Club took the initiative to paint speed breakers in more than 200 places in 17 places of the country including Faridpur, Madaripur, Rangpur, Khulna. Riders of various vehicles, including motorcycles, often met with accidents due to speed breakers not being visible in these places.So these dangerous places are selected by the members of the Yamaha Riders Club. Organized speed breaker painting and sign boarding programs to create awareness among people about National Road safety Day, so as to reduce the number of road accidents in these vulnerable areas.
Hasibul Hasan, a member of Faridpur Yamaha Riders Club, said, "If riders like us who uses motorbikes, trucks or private cars drive carefully on the road, then it is possible to keep the road safe." On the other hand, DidarulAlam, another member of Yamaha Riders Club, said, "It is often seen on our road that many speed breakers are not visible due to lack of color. As a result, we have to get into an accident. The matter is requested to be brought under the supervision of the responsible officials of the road and transport department, so that all types of motor vehicle users can drive safely on the road”.
