When we look at the commuter segment one name comes into our mind first, which is Honda. It is not that Honda don’t have sports type premium bike, they do, but there are some quality commuter bikes they also offered. Honda CBR is one of the most popular sports bike around the world. However, Honda has recently introduced a new 110cc commuter for the Honda lovers, namely Honda Dream 110. In terms of Bangladesh, this bike has great appearance and necessary features to be a commuting partner. Honda has given Bangladeshi motorcycle usersoutstanding commuters and Honda Dream 110 is another name in that list. Well, this bike has a classic look that can attract the classic and commuting lovers. Nevertheless, this bike has modern features as well. When it comes to a good bike it must have good features as well. Therefore, let us review this newly added product of Honda and know the features that can make this bike perfect at its own segment.


Design and outlook:

If we start talking with the basic design of this new product of Honda, then it is of the major feature of Honda Dream 110. Because the design and appearance of this bike is decent, but stylish. Though it is purely a commuter segment bike, but the overall graphics has sporty attire. Seating position for both the rider and pillion seems comfortable ergonomics. Flat and extended single seat makes will make the ride way more comfortable in various conditions. Combined color shades and black shading on the whole makes the outlook pretty and attractive.


Dimensions:

Overall Honda Dream 110 is not a long bike, it is made with compact dimension. Starting with the seat height, this bike has low saddle height of 775mm, following the seat this bike has a good ground Clearance of 180mm. Regular size fuel tanker of 8 liters is placed for Honda Dream. Coming to the real size of this bike it is not so long, and also not very short as well. The height, length, width, and weight ofHonda Dream 110 are 1061mm, 2020mm, 737mm, and 107kg respectively. The bike is lighter than the 125cc bikes, but is slightly heavier than the 100cc bikes. This bike also has a very short wheelbase of 1285mm.


Engine Transmission:

Honda never encompassed with their engine quality. For Honda Dream 110 Honda used a single-cylinder, 4-stroke, air-cooled, BS-IVand 110cc engine. For the power output this engine has 8.247BHP at7500rpm max power and 9.09Nm of max torque at 5500rpm. The company has claimed that the bike has a mileage of around 74kmpl, which makesit one of the most fuel-efficient bikes in Bangladesh. On the other hand it has a top speed of around 86kmph (company claimed). Honda Dream 110 is mated with basic wet multi-plate clutch system and 4 speed gear box transmission.


Brakes, tires, and Wheels:

For the braking of Honda Dream 110 Honda has used both side drum braking, it is quite disappointing, because other 110 cc bikes at the same segment have disc options. The Honda Dream 110 has alloy wheels. Over those It has an 80/100 tire arrangement for both sides.


Suspensions:

Looking into the suspensions we have an adjustable suspension, which comes with a very few bikes at commuter segment. 5-step adjustable twin spring loaded rear suspension will give the pillion supreme comfort on the bouncy roads and the front telescopic forks has the ability to stable the shaking from the front.


Meter cluster and electrical:

No specific upgrades are seen for Honda Dream 110 at these sides. The meter panel is fully analogue, which contains only a few necessary features like speedo meter, fuel gauge etc. no extra add are here. For the electrical it also comes with the same features as Honda Dream Neo, 12V 3Ah (MF) battery is placed for operating all the lights and electric start.


Verdict:

The Honda Dream 110 comes in three different and attractive colors. They are Black, Red, and Blue. Interestingly thesigns of all three variants of the bike are the same as each other. The decals are what gives thebike a very sporty look. So, after overviewing all the features of this bike it can be that Dream 110 has all the necessary features to be a perfect commuter on road. Due to some lacking this bike might face tough competition inside the local market, but on the whole if the performance remains right it will be a good choice for classy and commuter bike lovers.
