Another gift from Suzuki has been introduced for the Suzuki lovers, which they are calling Suzuki Bandit. With the tagline of “The Street king” Suzuki Bandit is now available in Bangladesh. New Suzuki Bandit is designed to provide a comfortable ride for all type of riders who love to ride bikes with comfort, but requires speed and concern about the trendy outlook. Suzuki applies the characteristics of the GSX series, which has superior engine performance. With a design and character, the Bandit is suitable for daily activities or touring with friends and family. From bellow the lines we will try to provide all the feature related information about this newly launched beast, so stay with us until we are done.


Design and outlook:

Suzuki bandit has been designed as an ultimate naked sports bike. Though it is a sports category motorcycle, but Suzuki has tried to provide comfort with sporty design. Regarding that this new model is not mated with sporty split seats, instead of that a flat seating position is given for the rider and pillion both. To make the bike sportier, stylish headlamps with aerodynamic shape has been given. Furthermore, extended engine guard kit make this bike look sportier. As this bike contains the GSX DNA, for this reason the same type of exhaust, disc plates and Mono suspensions has been offered with this bike and that makes the design into perfection. Color chroming has been done nicely with black shaded engine and little bit of chroming use makes it more attractive. Overall, this bike really has the charm to attract the users with its design.


Engine transmission:

Apart from GSX 150 outlook, this bike has almost the same DNA into its engine features. 147.3cc Liquid-Cooled, 4-stroke, 1-Cylinder DOHC 4-valve engine is seen at this bike, which can produce 14.1 KW@10500rpm max power and 14.0 Nm@9000rpm max torque. This kind of engines are made to provide speed and mileage. According to Suzuki this bike will provide near around 50 KM/L mileage, which is actually amazing as a 150cc monster. Hopefully riders will have the feeling of great speed and the mileage, because this bike has the fuel injection technology placed into its engine as well. For smooth transmission 6 speed gearbox is mated with Bandit 150. For starting up the engine this bike has both the kick and electric starting, which we usually don’t see in a fuel injection engines.


Dimension:

As we mentioned earlier, this is a naked sports bike and for that it is now designed so big. Thus, it has standard dimension as a sports segment bike.2,000 mm length, 1,035 mm height, and 745 mm overall width makes this bike look better. 1300 mm wheelbase and 165mm ground clearance is also a standard measurement, which is seen at this bike. Fuel tanker capacity has been set 11 liters inside Bandit. Including all bandit weighs 135 Curb weight.


Wheels and Tyres:

Both side stylish Alloy wheels are placed and their measurements are 17 inch each. Over them both side Tubeless tyres are mated. At the front 90/80, and at the rear side 130/70 tyres are seen on Bandit 150.


Suspensions and brakes:

For the suspensions Suzuki has given telescopic type front suspension and swing arm mono sock suspensions at the rear side. These two can easily handle the matter of comfort for the riders. For making the rider safe, Suzuki didn’t compromised with the braking and provided both side Petal Disc brakes. Though we didn’t have any CBS, or ABS braking function, but still these brakes can make the journey safe for us.


Electrical and meter cluster:

This bike not only has newly designed shape, but also the electrical side is also very pleasing. New LED headlamps are placed for Bandit and the turning lamps also comes with the same features. Moreover, the rear lamp stay with halogen bulb. Without that pass light is also powerful enough to clear your path. To operate this electrical section Bandit has 12V maintenance free battery.
The meter cluster is fully digital and has the negative background for good looks. It has all the necessary instruments you will need while riding. For instance, low fuel indicator, gear indicator, turn light and pass light indicators, RPM counter, speedo meter, clock etc.


Verdict:

Suzuki has given three color shades for this new model. And they are Metallic Matte Fibroin gray, titan Black, Celebration Red with Titan black shades. All three are now available and ready to roll. After watching all the features we can consider this bike as a true competition for the existing 150cc model, but the rest is up to its performance. However, seeing the features we will surely expect something exception from this this naked sports model. Though the price seems to be controversial, but it can be ignored if the performance seems worth of the price.
