Design
Design remains the same as 150 model as we mentioned earlier. Intelligent aerodynamics of the tank cowl assists better performance and reduces engine heat because this kind of shape offers great air flow. Without that muscular tank, smaller but stylish engine kits, DRL lamps make the design charming. Most precious thing about the build quality of this bike is its chassis. Overall body is design over Synchronized stiff chassis which developed in collaboration with TVS Racing and for this reason it ensures total control at high speeds and tight corners.

Dimension
Better dimension offers better control and riding and undoubtedly RTR offers that. At the dimensions it has 2085mm length, 730mm width, and 1105mm height. at the wheel base RTR 160 has 1300mm and the ground clearance is 165mm. overall kerb weight of the body is 137 KG. Overall this type of dimension can offer great controlling which this bike has.





Engine
As like RTR 150 this bike also offers good power, torque, compression ratio etc and that means overall powerful engine. RTR 160 is powered with 159.7cc four stroke, single cylinder, air cooled engine and that produces 11.19 kW (15.2 bhp) @8500 rpm max power and 13.1 Nm @ 4000 rpm max torque. Compression ratio of this bike is 9.5:1 and it has UCAL BS-26 carburetor. 5 speed gear box and both kick and electric starting option completes the engine.





Electrical and meter panel
at the electrical and meter panel features are almost the same as 150 model. At the electrical it has maintenance free (9 ampere) battery. DRL, special beast inspired design headlamps powered with LED light guide combined with new pilot lamps, DRL that activates with the ignition, the sleek and aggressive tail lamps which are dotted with a range of LED lights, crystal type side indicators and along with that passing switch engine kill switch are also there. At the meter panel accept the RMP indicator it is fully digital. This meter panel has RMP indicator, Speedo meter, low fuel indicator, clock, Trip meter, Digital Fuel Guage etc. which a rider need.





Tire
Talking about the tires this model contains 90/90 x 17" (Tubeless) tire at the front wheel and 110/80 x 17" (Tubeless) tires at the rear side. Rim sizes of this bike are 1.85 x 17" at the front and 2.15 x 17" at the rear.



Suspension
At the suspensions of this 160cc bike TVS placed Telescopic Forks, 105 mm Stroke suspension at the front and Monotube Inverted Gas-filled shox (MIG) with spring aid suspension at the rear side. Rear suspension is updated and can absorb extra pressure at good speed or at the critical situations.






Braking
Braking is also known as the most important safety gear of a bike because it reduces the risks of the roads and for this reason every high performance bikes are offered with high quality braking. Talking about performance we cannot forget Apache and that’s why TVS placed roto petal disc brakes for this bike at both side. This bike is Equipped with a 270mm disc on the front and 200mm at the rear, and for this it offers complete control of the bike. The special roto petal design decreases the extra heat and offers better braking.
