Nowadays Yamaha launched the new edition of Yamaha R15, which is V3 in the Indian market and that is also available in Bangladesh. This motorcycle already created a craze among motorcycle lovers of Bangladesh because of its premium and modified cosmetics. It is a 155cc motorcycle, however it looks like a higher section motorcycle. Design &Style:

This new machine Yamaha R15 V3 is designed with the concept Yamaha R1. You will find aerodynamic and sharp outlook for this new edition of R15. Its Split LED headlamp unit and windshield looks aggressive. Furthermore, the aerodynamic fairing seems to bedense and perfectly in sync with the body. The muscular and sculpted fuel tank is much alike Yamaha R1. Due to the Clip-on handlebar and the up-raised split seats this bike is now sportier. Engine features & transmission:

Well, R15 is one of the premium motorcycle at 150cc segment, which is why the engine section always remained more than perfect. Now, the version 3 has more to offer. This version got Liquid-cooled, 1-cylinder, 4-stroke, SOHC, 4-valve, 154.9 cc displacement engine, which can burn out 19.03 PS maximum power at 10000 rpm and 14.7 Nm torque at 8500 rpm. Comparing to the previous models this bike now has more acceleration rate and top speed. It can reach the top speed of 155 km/h easily. Constant-mesh, 6-speed gearbox equipped with the engine for better transmission. For the first time in Bangladesh we have been introduced with the Slipper and Assist clutch via this version. It will help to get easy gear shifting and smooth clutch adjustment, consequently your speed and acceleration will always be on top.Meanwhile, this motorcycle got some new design and features, but the power ratio is slightly lower than the previous version. But this new edition got a fuel injection system that the previous version didn’t have.


Dimensions &frame:

Comparing to the version 2 the dimension of R15 V3 is almost the same, though you might find some changes between Indonesia and Indian version. 170 mm ground clearance, 1325 wheelbase and 815 mm seat height is seen for this bike and no doubt these are ideal for any rider for their comfortable riding and good movement. Its handlebar is up-raised and more ergonomic, beside the seats are split. For solo riding this type of riding and seating seems to be ideal, but for pillions this bike might not be that much comfortable. The overall height of this bike is 1135 mm, width 725 mm and the length is 1990 mm. this bike can carry 11 liters of fuel and the kerb weight of V3 is 142 Kg. Overall, this new machine is built over Delta box-type chassis and it will provide stability and strength.


Suspension & Brakes:

Suspensions and brakes are very critical features, because they ensures safety and comfort. Yamaha used telescopic fork suspension front suspension for R15 V3 and Rear side it has is Swing-arm mono shock link type suspension. A double channel ABS system is mated with this new version for advance braking and safety. Moreover, 282 mm Hydraulic Single Disc for the front wheel and 220 mm Hydraulic Single Disc is installed for the rear wheel.


Wheels and Tyres:

Yamaha used MRF tyres for R15 V3. 100/80-17 tyres placed at the front and 140/70-17 rear section tubeless tyres are used in the rear wheel. Both the tires are tubeless and the stylish alloy wheels are there to carry them for better stability and traction.


Meter cluster & Features:

This new stylish meter console is not negative LCD, but fully white backlight and excellent LCD set makes this instrumental console eye catching.
