Aprilia GPR 150 user review by Abdullah Al Asif

Aprilia is a one of the popular brand round the world. They are appreciated all over the world for the quality of their bikes. Aprilia has not been in the market of Bangladesh for a long time. But, these days Aprilia is now available in Bangladesh through our local brand Runner. I really like the Aprilia GPR 150 bike when I first saw. At first glance it looks good with the edgy looks as well as a premium charm and the Aprilia brand has a different value. All in all, it looks perfect when I see my bike, but I did not want to ride this bike with all the problems I got after I start riding the bike. I will tell you all those things. I have only ridden this bike 200 km and got a lot of problems by riding. It is not that this bike only has bad sides, with the help of this bike you can do wonders, which you can’t with other bikes may be. The Aprilia GPR 150 bike is a 100% on-road bike.
I am having trouble riding the bike for personal reasons, because I have major problems with both hands and for this I cannot ride at bend position. I have used the Yamaha R15 version 3 and I had a problem with that bike too, but not as much as Aprilia. This bikes handlebars are a bit higher than the R15 V3, but it didn't help for me.

All the good aspects I have seen riding this bike:

- Braking and controlling of this bike is much better. I got very good performances by braking on highways and city streets. Meanwhile, this bikes control becomes more relaxing on the highways than the city roads.
- Every part of the bike is very strong and premium. What I like most about this bike is its uniquely designed parts. Aprilia has maintained its reputation in terms of build quality and parts.
- A masterpiece bike for a ride on the highway. I had fun by using this bike on the highway. Speed and acceleration is very good and the bike is very stable on the highway.
- In terms of design, it seems to me that there are no more beautifully designed bike in the market of Bangladesh. Because its design is unique and there is a sense of racing. Meanwhile, in keeping with the design, Aprilia has made their graphics outstanding. I like the design of this bike the most.
- I got good support in terms of engine, but as a premium bike, it would have been better if it had a little more power.

Now it is time to tell you some bad experiences with this bike

- I don't think the position of the bike's clutch lever and gear is right. I have to struggle a lot in using them and this is why the bike seems less comfortable to me. Meanwhile, due to my height, I have to lean more and put pressure on my hands. Due to this I could not ride more than 20 km continuously. This is why I can't ride in the city perfectly.
- The structure and mechanism of the bike is very different from other bikes in Bangladesh. Without a skilled mechanic it is very difficult to solve the problem of this bike and runner is implementing less effort for this brand. They should further improve the quality of service and arrange for the training of mechanics on these bikes.
- This is not recommended for riding in the city. I can't ride one day in the city perfectly, especially in Dhaka city after riding this bike I cannot even dear to ride for next few days due to hand pain.
- There is no vibration at low RPM, but the higher the RPM, the higher the vibration. I think the vibration of this bike should be even less.

The top speed of this bike I got is 125 km per hour. I think the engine should be a little more powerful. I am Dissatisfied with this bike in terms of mileage. I get an average mileage of 32 km per liter in both city and highway. According to me this bike must offer more mileage. At least 40 KM/H will do.

These problems are completely my personal issues. You may not face them all, which I am experiencing. I have shared with you the good and the bad sides both about this bike. However, based on my own experience I would say that if anyone likes Aprilia, then take the bike for a test ride than buy, because if you give a test ride, maybe you will be able to find your advantages-disadvantages.
