First let me introduce myself I am MD. Altaf Ali, by the profession I am a business man. From the very begining of my childhood I am attracted to motorcycles. Without motorcycles I feel empty and that is why I always prefer this vehicle for my daily communication need and also for my business works. At present I am using Bajaj discover 100 and today I shared few words about the good and bad sides of this bike with team motorcycle valley. As I am a non professional biker so these sayings of mine are personal opinion so those may vary with others. But I am hopping my sayings about this motorcycle will be at help for those whom are interested to buy a new bike. Discover 100 is my fourth personal bike which I am using and before this bike I have used TVS Metro, Hero Honda, and Dayang. After using all thee motorcycles I bought this bike based on the performance of its and using this for eight months. This bike saves my time and body work both and also offering excellent performance at both the village and city roads. I have completed 5000 kilometers with my bike and now from bellow the lines I will try to share all my experiences and findings of mine with you all.


I ride bikes to feel free and talking from that perception I always want to have a good engine support from my bike. Nothing to say special about this bikes engine because we all know what kind of capability Bajaj bikes engine has. As I said this is my fourth bike and eight months have already passed with this one but I haven’t faced any single problem with the engine and it is untouched. Small fixings which the engine requires because of regular riding I do those regularly. I think without good engine performance riding is like a cup of tea without sugar so I am pleased with the performance of my bikes engine. It is really powerful and I can easily ride with pillions without any lacking at the acceleration. Engine sound is also heart touching because my previous bikes never offered me this kind of smooth sound which I am getting. One of the best things is the mileage. I am getting the same mileage which was claimed by the company. They told me that I will get around 60 KM/L mileage and I am getting the same. So I am pleased with the mileage I am getting now.

I like many bikes from the childhood of mine but Bajaj discover 100 is something else and I loved it so much. I like the overall design and build quality of this bike. I personally think this bike will offer durability and I can use it for long time. Every body parts and body plastic seems really hard and I never feel this bike short of anything at the design and build. Without that this bike is really a comfortable bike for riding. I am not saying that because I am using this bike, after using it you will also say the same I guess. Seating position is perfect of this bike and at the necessary situation you can easily ride with two extra pillions. Seat height is perfect and I can touch my both feet’s at the ground easily. Combination of the handle bar and the seat is perfect according to me and I feel good comfort while my rides because of that. Now let’s talk about some bad findings of mine. One thing I must say the suspensions of this bike are not that much effective anyways. I feel great shaking at the bad road conditions which is not so pleasing. Electrical switches placed at the handle bar are not that much good looking or user friendly for using. But the support of the electrical is good enough for me. Especially the headlamp offers great light for riding at the night times and I am pleased with it.
Now talking about the control of this bike it has good braking and for that the controlling is satisfactory. Though this bike vibrates at the high speed but I think that is the same problem of almost the bikes I used. So I didn’t bother that mush with this issue. I have personally speeded up this bike up to 90KM/H speed and travelled 150 kilometers in a day but I never felt shortage of controlling. But after riding this bike for a long duration I felt back, wrist and waist pain. This bike is suitable for all that I must say and offers great comfort and controlling for all the riders.

Till now I have fixed my bikes problem for once in the servicing center but it was not a big issue. After visiting the showroom I realized that they are well equipped and also have capable workers with good environment. I really liked the way they behaved with me.

Based on the quality, performance and features I think the price of this bike is higher and need to be lessening a little bit. .

For those whom are thinking to have a new bike I will say that this bike is good enough to perform well for you as a 100cc bike. as I am using this bike and I am having good performance so I am saying that so hardly.

Good sides:
Good seating position, powerful engine, good design, overall excellent performance, good brakes, fast acceleration, Good after sells service, powerful electrical and durable body.
Bad sides:
High price, not for long rides, bad electrical, poor suspension and switch quality,
