Bajaj Discover 125 user review by Soyod Ali

My name is MD.Soyod Ali and I do business. The name of my motorcycle which I use these days is Bajaj Discover 125. This is the first bike of my life and I bought this motorcycle one month back from now and the place where I bought was “Rabbi Enterprise” placed at Taherpur Puthia Rajshahi. Within this one month I have ride around 500 kilometers path with this bike. For my daily communication or having good transportation I purchase this bike but I am not a regular user like others. Without any need I didn’t went out with motorcycles. Today I am introduced with the team motorcycle and I am really happy that they gave me an opportunity to give a review for them about my bike which they will publish. I never got thins chance before so now I am going to share my likes, dislikes, good sides and bad sides of my bike.

Firstly I want to start talking with the engine. Engine performance of Bajaj Discover 125 is outstanding and it is really powerful indeed. Body plastics and overall build quality is also very strong. I observed that these parts will not break down that easily. Engine performance is pleasing by the way; it has a smooth sound and no overheating problem. Talking about the other important thing the design I have to say it is different comparing to other 125cc previous models of Bajaj. It has digital meter console, new graphics, LED tail lamp and many more features which are newly added. Before buying this motorcycle I firstly chose the design of it. The design is very attractive and I hope that this design will be liked by all and it will be suitable for all because this bike just arrived at the local market. I didn’t have any other choices in m mind because it is new model and it has new features so I buy it. I especially like the digital meter panel of this bike.

The seat of this bike is perfect for both the pillion and rider and that is why I liked it so much. The seat is wider and softer enough to ride for long duration. But the handle bar was very tight at the beginning. Few days back I fixed that problem. I used to feel pain while riding this bike because of the handle bar but now I feel good. At the high ways I speed up this bike up to 65 KM/H speed and on that time I didn’t find any problems. Suspensions are effective and for that I cannot feel intense shaking on the broken roads and at the city roads it runs very smoothly. Braking performance is up to the mark. But if this bike has the disc braking then it will do better. One problem that I found is the chain, it get loosen very early, I have fixed this problem once already.

During night rides I realized that this bike has good power at the headlamp because I can see the roads clearly when I ride my bike at the dark roads. Operating switches placed at the handle bar are not only good looking but also very user friendly. This bike has self starting option and the battery is very strong so I can have comfortable journey. Controlling is satisfying because as I said the braking side is good and so do the tyres. They are very well gripped and for that reason no skidding and better cornering. I never felt any vibration while riding at high speed and I can control this bike on that type of situation easily. So overall I have to admire that this bike is comfortable and can be controlled easily.

At present I am getting good mileage from this bike though it is new in condition. I didn’t calculate the mileage exactly but I am getting the same type of mileage which I was told from the showroom. For this reason I am not worried about. I will be happy if I get the overall good performance from this bike. I have visited the servicing center once and they treated me well on that time. They fix my problem first though I wasn’t there for solving a big problem I was there for stiff the chain and fix the handle bar as I said earlier. I like the environment of that place and the workers are also very capable I think so I have no complain about the servicing center at all.

Comparing to other 125cc motorcycle of other companies the price of Bajaj Discover 125 is higher. Based on the performance and features the price should be reduced little bit. And reducing the price will also increase the demand for sure of this bike because it is well featured and the performance is not so bad at all. The design is perfect, attractive colors and the mileage is also pleasing so the demand will increase if the price gets lessen.

Finally I will say that different motorcycle runs with different engine oil but you must use the best one for it and also the best fuel. I like this bike really much and I am using better engine oil and fuel for it. Hope it will perform well in near future too. So those whom are thinking to have a 125cc bike if they have the budget then they can go for this bike. You will not be disappointed and there is nothing to think about the brands reputation. So try it.
