Bajaj Discover 125ST Vs TVS Phoenix 125
At present days several categories of motorcycles are available in our country. Among them for example we have Sports bike, commuter bike, cruiser bike etc. At the roads we often see the ratio of commuter bikes are really high than the other because of our country roads and speed limitation. To represent these commuter bikes many companies also available such as Bajaj, Hero, TVS, Mahindra, Honda, Yamaha and many more. At the commuter category bike there are two popular motorcycles are available in our local market from Bajaj and TVS Company. Both these bikes are well featured and stylish. So let’s check the features of these two popular commuter motorcycles by comparing them to each other from bellow the lines. Dimension and looks:
For good cornering, turning, control dimension of a motorcycle must be well designed and the outlook also depends on good dimension of a motorcycle. . Without that riding will not be enjoyable. At the dimension Bajaj Discover ST has 1980mm length, 760mm width and 1078mm height. At the wheelbase it has 1305mm and the ground clearance of this bike 170 mm which is really good. This bike contains kerb weight of 126 KG. On the other side dimension of TVS Phoenix is 1985mm length, 1065mm width and 740mm height. It has a wheelbase of 1265 mm and ground clearance of 165 mm. It has Kerb weight of 114 KG. This type of dimension is very well that’s why both this motorcycle contains stylish outlooks and great color combination. As a commuter bike both can satisfy a rider with their dimension and outlooks.
Engine type:
TVS and Bajaj both companies are really good at their products engine quality. That’s why both these bikes contain good engine side. Bajaj Discover ST has 124.6cc 4 Valve Twin Spark Air Cooled engine with 13 Ps @ 9000 rpm max power and 1.1 kgm @ 7000 rpm max torque. This engine can give a top speed of 110 KM/H (Approx). On the other hand TVS Phoenix has 125cc EcoThrust Engine. This engine can produce 10.5 Bhp @ 7500 rpm max power and 10 Nm @ 6000 rpm max torque. This engine can give a top speed of 100 KM/H (Approx). Because of Eco Thrust engine this motorbike can give good mileage. So in a word we can say at the engine side both this motorcycles are perfectly made as a commuter bike.
Suspensions and brakes:
These two things are very important for a motorcycle and at this side both are perfectly made. At the suspensions Discover has Telescopic suspension at the front and Nitrox Monosock suspension at the rear side. At the brakes this bike contains the combination of Disc and Drum brakes. Other hand Phoenix also contains good suspensions and combination of Disc and Drum brakes.
So these are the main feature of both these motorcycles which a rider wants to know. Although without these, there are some other features are available at both these bikes.
