Bajaj Platina 100cc user review by Kajem Ali

My name is MD. Kajem Ali and I am a Lecturer of a college. It was tough for me to communicate in my college few years ago when I have no bike to commute even some day I can't reach ion my college timely. Meanwhile, my home is in a remote place and by considering all these circumstances, I have to purchase a motorcycle “Bajaj Platina 100cc”. I purchase this bike in the year of 2015, from the last 3 years I have been using this one. This is good to mention that, 3 years is enough time to understand a bike. I would like to Thank “MotorcycleValley” to upload my experience with my bike also my opinion for the general people. I hope my experience will be helpful enough specially for those who are thinking to have this one for their personal use.

First of all I want say about the performance of the Engine. This is pretty good to say that I don't found anything negative in the Engine in the last 3 years. It is performing in the same way till now as it was in new condition. There are some trifling matter in the Engine which I do serve from the service center but those don't put any effect in the Engine performance. On the other hand, I want to make thing clear on the matter of mileage that, I am having the mileage of 50 kilometer per liter. This is not so even not so bad but I expected little more mileage from this one as 100cc bike.

Its design is good to me. As 100cc bike, I would like to say that its design is far better then any other 100cc bike same time, I have noticed a strong build quality in this one. I can ride my bike with confident because its strong structure let me to ride it with my confident. But everything of this bike look like to me long somehow and this is not any negative sign for me.

It is quite comfortable to ride. Seating position is good and long where 2 person even 3 person can easily sit. On the other side, the handlebar is look like long to me and it would better if this one is little shorter then it is. As to say about the electrical of this bike, switches on the handlebar are pretty good but self switch is not like normal often create problem. But considering all the comfort features of this bike, I am ok and fine with its comfort.

I have found excellent control from this one. I don't feel any vibration in the high speed even braking system works nicely even in the high speed. Brakes and fine in the normal speed as well but the suspensions performance is not up to the mark. Tyres grip is good enough and serves nice control.
Service of the servicing center is not so good in my view. They have lack in all their activity and their working quality is not up to the mark as well. By measuring these all facts I merely visit the servicing center.

Good sides:
- Comfortable seating position
- Powerful Engine
- Classy outlook that suits with any rider of any age
- Color combination is really nice.

Negative sides:
- No hook to place a bag
- A bad sound emerge from the gear plate
- No gear indicator

By considering its quality performance and others features of this bike, its price seems like little higher from my view. It would be perfect if the price is little lower then as it is. I will advice to don't purchase this one if you are thinking to have this bike why because, its fuel expense and features are not so modern as it normally should be. When you are determined to have it then you are welcome to purchase this one, I am not going to say anything then.
