Bajaj Pulsar 150 user review by Joy

My name is Joynal Abedin, and I am a student. Bike riding is one of the biggest hobbies of mine. Whenever I got time I travel with bike and friends. Now I am using Bajaj Pulsar 150 and that is 2012 model. For many days I am using this bike and because of that reason I have found some bad and good sides of this bike. Today I am going to share all those with you guys and hope it will be helpful for you.

Let us start from the beginning, before this bike I used CG 125 and also driven many of my friend’s motorbikes from different brands. I feel good to ride CG bike but I felt it was old model bike and suitable for the aged peoples so I need a stylish bike for myself. And for this kind of feeling I purchased Bajaj Pulsar 150. Reason behind purchasing this bike was my easy movement and to fulfill my travelling habit.



In my personal view I like the design and build quality of this bike. Though it has a perfect sports commuter shape but I also made some modifications to give better appearance. I changed the alloy rim color of my bike, lifted the seat height and few other modifications. Before I changed such things I liked the bikes design and build quality and those modification was for only my own diversion. On the hand talking about the comfort I would say I just love it. This bike offers excellent seating position which makes me so comfortable. No difficulty takes place during ride with the pillion as well. This bike also offers comfortable handlebar and a very special feature, and that is all the switches are placed at the handle bar glow at the darkness and it is really helpful for the night roaming I guess. Without that powerful headlamp and good electrical support will also make you feel comfortable at your night riding.



Now if I talk about control, I have personally got better controlling that I must say. I had speed up my bike up to 129 KM/H top speed but still no shaking and no lack of control situation was seen by me. Suspension performance is well enough and I have got relaxed riding for these suspensions at different road conditions. Because of the thinner tires this bike sometimes skids during hard braking but braking are effective. So for get rid of this skidding problem I replaced those tires and placed wider tires and still I am using those.




Fuel coast of my bike is little bit higher than the present Pulsars and reason behind that is my bikes model, its older version. On average I am getting 40 KM/L mileage which slighter as Pulsar bike. But I am satisfied with the mileage.

Undoubtedly Bajaj Product is good but there after sells service is the worst. People used to say this but when I personally experienced the low quality service and rude behavior I become certain of it. I think they must increase their service center quality to hold on to their reputation.



Few things I liked the most about this bike is its short pickup, glowing switches of the handle bar, engine sound, control etc. but I think if this bike comes with mono-shock suspension it will perform better at the comfort.

I think over all features goes with the price of this bike and they are well enough to perform. But when I purchased this bike it was higher in price. Overall it is perfect as 150cc bike according to the price and features are also perfect.

Those bike lovers who want to have this bike my suggestion will be; new pulsar didn’t offer smoother sound quality so buy the old model.
