Bajaj Pulsar AS150 motorcycle technical review

For last few years India’s number one motorcycle manufacturer Bajaj Auto laterally facing losses because their product sell has been decreasing day by day. Their market share also has been decreasing because of this reason to their opponent. There is nothing new with the process they applied to reclaim their market value. They introduce many models of bike with the same name; they did it at the past with Discover seriese. At first they brings Discover 135 and after few times they introduced more models such as discover 100cc, 125 and 150cc. When these models arrived at the local market they discontinued Discover 135. The same thing they did with Bajaj Pulsar. They bring few models of Bajaj Pulsar such as two of adventure series named Pulsar AS150 and Pulsar AS200 although these two are almost same at their looks. Along with them Pulsar 200NS (NS stands for naked sports) and Pulsar RS200 sports bike. Production of previous model Pulsar will be stopped very soon. Among all these Pulsar models we will converse about Bajaj Pulsar AS150 motorcycle because only this model is available in our country market. Bajaj Auto is claiming that Pulsar AS150 motorcycle belongs to adventure series motorcycle and for this reason this motorcycle can perform better at on roads and of roads both at the same time. Bajaj auto changed the cc limitation of discover series but with Pulsar they changed the outlooks and design not the cc. two competitor are also waiting at the market and they are Suzuki Gixxer SF and Yamaha Fazer FI V2.0. Design:
At the design if we leave the technical sides there is nothing unlike between Bajaj Pulsar AS150 and AS200.  It won’t be wrong if we say identical. At the beast society their leader is called “Alfa male”. Bearing that in mind this bike is designed little bit larger and perfect plastic work is done at this bike. Projector Headlight and bigger wind screen will remind you about Alfa male. This bikes design is much better than the other motorcycles at this segment. At least you will get variety. Features

Semi-digital console:
At Pulsar AS150instrument cluster is placed between theanalogue and digital part. At the digital part you will find speedometer, odometer, trip meter, fuel gauge and clock. Gear shift light and service reminder indicator and side sound indicator are also added. These features are latest and very carefully placed.

Monoshock Suspension:
At the front side this bike contains 37mm telescopic anti friction suspension and for the first time any Bajaj motorcycles contains Monoshock suspension. Around the world this superior suspension is used for better comfort. One thing will be alway7s missed out of this bike which is rear Disc brakes. This bike has no rear Disc brakes. This bike has 244mm Disc brakes at the front side and 130mm rear Drum brakes. These types of brakes are not bad at all. In every type of situation these brakes can help support the rider. Projector Headlamp:

Mileage and Top speed:
Engine of Pulsar AS150 is the better version of Bajaj Pulsar 150. Old model of pulsar contains 15 BHP but this new model contains 17 BHP and for this reason the top speed of this new model will be better than regular one. regular Pulsar 150 can give a top speed of 110 Km/H but AS150 can give 120 Km/H top speed easily. Bajaj claims that this bike can give a top speed of 135 KM/H. Capacity of this motorcycle tank is 12 liters. Bajaj says this bike can go 60 KM/L but it depends on many things. On avereges this bike can gives 45 Km/L mileage. This type of speed and mileage is not so bad at all as 150cc motorcycle. so riders can enjioy them both.

Every mechanical thing has few negative things and this bike also has.

-       It could be better if it has six gears.
-       Rear tyre is thinner than the other bikes.
-       Rear disc brakes are needed.

At last it can be said after watching these features, Bajaj Pulsar AS150 cannot be said an adventure motorcycle. Because of dual purpose tyres and off road suspension you can’t ride at any kind of roads like you will do at the adventures. Only good road grip cannot give the riders better support. But with the better engine, visual appeal style, design and overall all features when a rider will ride this bike his feelings will be very charming that for sure, and you will not get that type of feelings at other bikes. Overall it can be said that this bike is perfect for racing and tour. Because of the handle bar and seating position you can have better stability to ride for long time. This bike is fuel efficient.
