Pulsar NS 160 is among one of the models, which is a complete package that represents a naked sports bike and comes with speed, looks and Pulsar DNA. Now the younger sibling of the Pulsar NS Series, which is completely a different machine than the predictable Pulsar models has stuck the market at 160cc segment. The all-new naked Street fighter, namely Bajaj Pulsar N160 is available with completely different looks and designs along with some terrifying features.
Features that matter at Bajaj Pulsar N160?
Design and looks:
Bajaj has tried something new for this streetfighter. However, in terms of design, the Pulsar N160 bear a resemblance to its bigger sibling, the Pulsar N250, though the concept is completely new in 150-160cc segment. It features a sharp front cowl that houses a projector headlight and LED DRLs. Beefy tank extensions give it a muscular look, which complements the high-set tail section. Dynamic interplay of premium metallized dual colors that are darker in the front and lighter towards the rear, emphasizes the contours of this new beast. Looking at the body design this bike holds significant facelift by its headlamp assembly which gives this bike aggressive attire. Along with a Bi-functional single LED projection lamp and double LED DRL the panther-head assembly looks quite robotic. In addition, N160 includes wider pipe handlebar, the front assembly is fully naked and visible.
Dual Channel ABS Braking Technology:
The all-new Bajaj Pulsar N160 comes with excellent safety measures that completes the requirements and necessity of modern-day bikers. New Infinity Display Console
New infinity console brings to life the aesthetic duality of modern digital readouts and the classic analog tachometer. The analogue pod lines the tachometer, while the LCD screen packs the speedometer, trip meter, fuel level readout, gear position indicator, and time. Apart from an all-LED illumination, users now get also a USB charging port.
All-New Refined Engine:
Bajaj has imposed new refined engine to own the streets with strong acceleration and everyday rideability on Bajaj pulsar N160. The new Pulsar N160 gets a 164.82cc single-cylinder air-oil-cooled Twin Spark, DTS-i engine that produces 16PS and 14.65Nm max power and torque, respectively. It is paired to a five-speed gearbox. Not done yet, this bike has Torque-On-Demand technology that never run out of power. A wide torque band offers 85% of peak power over a wider rev range - more than any other motorcycle in the segment according to the manufacturing company. Combining all together, the motorcycle is very efficient in power delivery and it also can ensure a significant range of fuel economy.
Physical features:
Bajaj Pulsar N160 is built over a perimeter frame that holds a vertically aligned petrol engine. The wheelbase is measured 1358 mm and the ground clearance is 165mm. now the N160 has even seat height, not so low or higher like NS series, the measurement is 795mm. this bike can hold up to 14 liters of fuel inside its muscular fuel tank.
Brakes and Wheels:
The braking hardware consists of a single front and rear disc with single and dual-channel ABS as an option for Bajaj Pulsar N160. It rides on 17-inch alloy wheels. The tyre section measurements are 100/80-17 at the front and 130/70-17 at the rear.
Suspensions:
In terms of suspension system, the new Pulsar N160 is featured with a regular hydraulic telescopic fork suspension in the front and at the rear, it holds the spring-loaded and Nitrox-Gas charged mono shock absorber. Both of these can ensure excellent stability, comfort and lean angle performance.

Bajaj offers the all-new Pulsar N160 in two variants. The single-channel ABS edition comes in three colors: Racing Red, Techno grey and Caribbean Blue. Meanwhile, the dual-channel ABS model is only available in Brooklyn Black. According to the features this bike has it all to be a perfect streetfighter, however the performance will determine the final acceptance.
