Bajaj is one of the most popular motorcycle brands in Bangladesh and we all know that. From the city roads to the broken village roads Bajaj motorcycles are seen and the best reasons for their popularity are the mileage and the performance of their bikes. For many days people has a craze over bikes and if we are looking for a mileage friendly bike then we will search for Bajaj bikes indeed and they will be at the priority list. Bajaj always cares about their users and for that reason they bring different segments of bikes for their users. At the commuter segment they have Bajaj Discover, Platina, and CT 100 etc. Among the naked sports segment they have Bajaj Pulsar NS 160 which also known as one of the most popular at this category as well. At present I am using that bike and today I am here to express some of my very own opinion and experiences about this motorcycle.

My name is Ibne Forhad and before using Bajaj Pulsar NS 160 i have used Hero Hunk, Apache RTR, Yamaha Fazer, FZS-Fi, Gixxer and many more different bikes. Main reason to have this bike was the naked look of NS. I never watched this kind of naked sports bike over NS and especially in this kind of budget. I am using this bike for five months and in these five months many things pleased me as well as few things were disappointed also. So let us talk about those things.

If I have to talk about the design as I said before I am pleased with the design. This bikes iconic tail lamp design and the front headlamp increases over all charm of the design and especially it looks fantastic from both sides. Along with the design I like the build quality too. Even after falling no body parts were broken till now, so no complaints with these two sides of my bike.

This bike is truly a comfortable bike for riding; I will say those persons whom are over 5 feet 6inches can ride this bike with excellent comfort. Seat height is perfect for both short and long heighten person but the seat is little bit harder to seat on. Without that the combination of the seat and the handle bar, switches placed at the handlebar, electrical, headlamp power etc all makes me comfortable for riding this bike and they are so perfect. Without the headlamp other electrical helps me a lot for riding at night. So I am not disappointed with the comfort of this bike.

I think the controlling of this bike is average. After I cross the speed of 80 KM/H i can feel the vibration and on that time maintain good control becomes difficult for me, but I cannot say whether this happens to others or not. Front disc brakes are very supportive and performing well for me, I can stop the bike whenever i want but the rear drum brakes are not that much effective. I think this bike should have rear disc brakes instead of drum brakes. Even the suspensions offers excellent performance at the both the smooth and broken roads of this bike, Front telescopic and rear mono shock both are softer and smoother that I must say. Tyres are thinner based on the body dimension. Though the tyres are thinner but they are well gripped. These thinner tyres put a bad impact on the looks but there are no complaints about them except this one.

As I have ridden many other bikes so I took the mileage issue very strongly. I am getting little bit higher mileage than 40 KM/L from my NS. Comparing to the same bikes of this segment and the overall performance i will say the mileage range of this bike is lower.

I like the after sells service of Uttara motors. Their behavior, environment of that place, work ability, and the mechanics all are up to the mark and satisfying indeed. But one thing that doesn’t make me fully satisfied and that is the equipment of them. I will strongly recommend them to overcome this problem as early as possible they can.

Based on the engine performance, body parts and design of this bike I personally think the price of this bike is perfect, what more we can have within this budget. I am totally pleased with the price range that this bike holds.

Few good sides of my bike:
- Outstanding outlooks
- Durable build quality
- Eye catching headlamp design and perfect light
- Holding the handlebar is comfortable

Few bad sides of this my bike:
- Thinner tyres.
- Braking need to be improved.
- Requires better controlling.

After using this bike for five months I realized that this bike is for those peoples who has more than 5 feet 5 inches height without that they won’t be comfortable while riding this bike and for that reason I will strongly recommend that kind of persons to have this bike, though it is my personal opinion now the choice is up to you. So finally I have come to an end of my story with my bike and these were my own findings and experiences which I gathered within these five months. If I made any mistakes and those catches your eyes then I beg of pardon.
