Bajaj Pulsar NS160 user review by Sahadat Hossain

One of the most popular vehicles in Bangladesh is now motorcycle. From youth to old age people most of the people want to have a motorcycle for their better and fast communication. Different people have different perspective and user purpose, most of the people wants to have a bike to save time. Because of all these reasons there are many brands available who are providing different motorcycles and for that customers can choose their own one. I am also a bike user and my name is Sahdat Hossain and I am an army officer by the profession. I had great passion about motorcycle from the very begging of my childhood. My uncle had a bike named Honda CG125 and I used to wash that bike very often and seat on it. One day my uncle took to a field and started to teach me bike riding and I started to ride a bike. After that my passion started to grow up and I used to travel with my uncles bike, sometimes I went out for family works and sometimes I went for my traveling but the bike was with me most of the time. My days were passing like this way and after I finished my study I I got a job at the Bangladesh army and bought a 150cc named Bajaj Pulsar 150. After using that for one year Suzuki Gixxer was caught to my eyes and I without wasting any time I bought that bike. But I always have a weakness over Bajaj Company and one day I saw at the newspaper that Bajaj is bringing their NS 160cc bike in Bangladesh. After few days I came home for a vacation and I bought that bike. For the last two months I am using this bike and gathered some good and bad both experiences about this bike. Today I am going to bring all of those things in front of you guys through team motorcycle valley and I will hope that you guys will stay with me till the end.



This bike is one of the most lovable bikes of mine, mainly I am a fan of Bajaj Pulsar NS 200 but I feel this bike is 200cc bikes for me and I really mean it. I am getting the same kind of feelings.


Engine
This bike has a powerful engine and I can easily have a smooth ride with this bike and also can accelerate my bike whenever I want. Though I haven’t found any extra bad noise from the engine but I never like the original sound of this bikes engine as well. Because this bikes engine contains oil cooling system so it doesn’t get heated early. Even at the long journeys I saw the engine remains cooler than other bikes and I am pleased with the performance because of these reasons.

Design and build quality
I am totally astonished with the design of this bike. Overall outlook pleased me especially the graphical side of this bike is awesome. In one words I would like to say the design is amazing. After buying this bike unfortunately I was fallen down one day and after I get up and saw the bike I haven’t seen any single sketches so I thing the build quality of this bike is also very strong as well. I really like the switch colors of this bike but I think it would have been better if they were something exceptional. I really don’t like the battery of this bike of this bike and the chain get loosen very early. But over all I am happy with the overall design and build quality and I am expecting better performance than now from this bike.

Comfort and control
As this bike is different from others that’s why the comfort of this bike is also very dissimilar. After I hop up on this bike I can have the sporty bikes feeling on it. As I said this bike is really smooth for riding and that’s why no vibration is there and because of that reason I never feel pain in my wrist or body while riding. I can ride this bike with great comfort and that’s what I really like about this bike. One of the major important things for riding at night is the headlamp support and I must say I am getting good support from this bikes good looking and powerful headlamp. I can easily see the distance staff coming from the front. Whenever I came home for vacation I use my bike for long traveling and I feel back pain during that time but the handle bar is really easy for using and can be turned easily. Comparing to other bikes I really like the controlling of this bike and in a word I will say fantastic. For few times I had to use the brakes all of a sudden and I have got good response from the braking of my bike and I can easily control the bike on that situations, but I think ABS braking system will be more perfect for better braking and controlling. I think as a 160cc bike the rear tire of this bike is really thin and for that I sometimes have to fear. I am not satisfied with the rear tire. I have traveled 60 KM in one day and I have observed few things on that time, among them the most important one is the suspensions were really effective even at the rough road conditions and I had smooth riding because of that. So I think the suspension of this bike is really well performing. Though I dislike few things but I really think that this bike has a wonderful controlling.

Service
When I bought this bike from the showroom they were really nice to me and I really like their behavior. Till now I haven’t do any kind of servicing with my bike but I think they are really well behaved.

Price and verdict
I am totally satisfied with the price of this bike because I am glad that I am having a 160cc bike within this kind of price range. So finally it can be said that this bike is durable and offering me great controlling as well. so within this kind of price range I think it is better to go for NS 160.
