Bajaj V15 Features Review

Recently Bajaj has launched new series of commuter bike called “Bajaj V15”. This is the first bike of V series and hopefully model will continue with V20, V25 etc. Unlike other bike this series is related with the history. INS Vikrant, Majestic-class aircraft carrier, was the part of Indian Navy. In recent past, Bajaj purchased that historical class aircraft carrier to use in manufacturing new motorbike series called “V”. According to the structural and technical features, Bajaj has made this model as a combine version of Pulsar and Discover.

Though Bajaj is calling this model as a commuter bike but it has been giving the impression of café racer and cruisers. Mainly two colors are available white and red with attractive graphical design. This model is not only different in terms of design but also features are exception from others model too. Along with 135 kg weight and 780 mm sit height that would give better control to all heighted riders.




Engine: Bajaj V15 has been decorated with Single cylinder, 149.5 cc engines that can generate 11.83 BHPr and 13 Nm torque. This five gears features bike is capable of providing top speed 109 km/h Bajaj claim. As a commuter bike, 150cc, mileage is admirable. It will give you 45 to 50 km per litter. As a 150cc bike 11.83 BHP might not satisfy young generation. It could have been better for smooth riding. Otherwise, it has excellent torque generating capacity which is perfect for the urban road as well as out of ordinary design would grab the attention of others.



Fuel tank: Most attractive part of this bike is fuel tank structure. It has been design like wild bison rib cage with storage capacity of 13 litters. Most importantly, Baja has used INS Vikrant metal to build fuel tank. Stylish graphical design has made this division more attractive. You can ride 600+KM with full loaded tank.




Instrument panel: Out of ordinary instrument panel decorated with color changing LED light, Speedo meter, Odometer and fuel gauge.




Headlight: 12V, 60 watts headlight has good enough brightness that will help you to drive smoothly in the urban road as well as rural road and in high way in the dark night.




Seat: At a glance this is a single seat café racer type model but in real it is two seated motorbike. Its height is standard with seat cowl at the behind attached by screw. That could be unlock and use as a seat if required.




Rear View: Alongside red color graphical design with attractive flat LED tail lamp has given extraordinary look to this V15 model.




Exhaust: Strong and durable exhaust pipe has been decorated with chrome at the end.




Tire, break and suspension: it has 18 inches alloy wheel with 33 mm telescopic fork in front and 16 inches alloy wheel at the rear with dual suspension. In addition, it has 240 mm disk brake in front and rear 130 mm drum brake.




Why purchased this bike?
This is one of the attractive out looking model of Bajaj commuter series. Along with 150 cc engine it has been offering excellent mileage of 50 plus per liter. Most importantly, price of Bajaj V15 is really reasonable compare to its given features.
