I never hold a dream to have my own motorcycle, few days past I was a regular bicycle user. I used to ride my way to office by my bicycle. Suddenly I feel difficulty with bicycle and started to think of motorcycles. I am little bit shorter in height and for this reason choosing a motorcycle was very difficult for me. On the other side I didn’t have cash money also. So I started to search for bikes at the showrooms but I was confused which bike I should purchase?
At last I went to the runner showroom at 9th may 2016 placed at tejgaon and came to know that they provide installments facilities. Without wasting any time I took an application form and a brochure of Runner Deluxe. My parents were no more and therefore my sister and brother in law was my all in all. I tried to convince my sister for a bike and I was successful. After my sister was convinced she also convinced his husband I was ready to have a bike.
Then I filled the form and placed that at the showroom, after completing all the verification they called me and ask me to choose a motorcycle.
Required things for having a motorbike at installment were,
- Fill up form.
- Photo copy of the NID card.
- 2 copy passport size photo.
- 2 guarantors and their NID photocopy.
- Guarantors Passport size photo.
- Everyone’s work place document.
- TK 300 stamp paper.
- For 12 months installment 12 cheque paper.
- Presence of the guarantors.
( Keep in mind that unless the last installment of your is paid the registration will be on the name of Runner and after all the money will be paid, you can have the bike on your name from BRTA office and the company will give you clearance paper)
After completing all the procedures I took the bike home. Now I will share my 13 months and 140000 Kilometer experience with my bike.

I purchased this bike at 2016 and I paid TK 93014 for the installment and TK 11700 for the bikes registration at the BRTA office. My total cost was TK (93014+11700+300+100) = TK 105114. Recent price of this bike is TK 83000.
Let’s talk about the performance
I ride my bike with great care during the break-in period. I have changed my engine oils several times at the break-in period. First I changed the engine oil at 400KM, second time at 1000 Km and for the third time I changed at 1800 KM. after that I regularly change the engine oil after 1000 Kilometers. According to the cc the top speed of this bike is very pleasant. When I was touring with the runners bikers club at Comilla I have got 95 KM/H speed. Almost every one doesn’t agree with me but I have lots of evidences with me. Though I have no headache for the top speed, because I like safety but 80-85 KM/H speed can easily be marked with this bike. Though the engine is from Chinese company but after 13months I am getting pleasant performance and the engine is still untouched.
Now if we talk about the mileage, in a word for the rough users this bike is perfect. At the city like Dhaka you can ride at the traffic and go beyond the traffic with 62-65 KM/L mileage easily. At the picture you will see that I have ridden 462 KM and still there is fuel left in my tanker. This bike holds 9 Liters tanker and one liter at the reserve. At the high ways I have got 70 KM/L + mileage.
With this little vehicle I have traveled a lot, such as Comilla, Noakhali, Laxmipur, Narshingdi, Tangail, Adhulia, Mymenshing, Barishal and some other places.
How I take care of my bike
Though I use my bike very rough and tough but the engine sound remains the same, and I guess that is for my caring. I was my bike at least twice in a week, change the engine oil after every 1000 KM and service the bike on regular basis. I use 20W50 grade engine oil for my bike. Without that I didn’t face any difficulties during my bikes servicing.
Those problems I faced with my bike
This bike contains very light weight, and for this reason riding at the wind is very difficult. Both brakes are Drum Brakes and for this reason riding at the high ways is not easy and need to be very conscious for the safety. And if the bike gets drench at the rain brakes become harder and problems arise at the braking.
Suspension of this bike is very stiff and for this reason wobble is recognized well at this bike.
There is no fuel meter and for that’s why measuring the fuel is tough.
Tyres are smaller because the body size is small. For small tyres and at the sand, oily or muddy roads I have faced problems. Two times I faced accidents but those were not so deadly.
Few changes I made
Till now I have changed few things and also modified few parts. Such as I have replace the handle bar with FZS handle bar, changed the battery and placed Rahim Afrooz global 6 ampere battery. First battery gets down very early and I think it was for my own use.
It is time to come to an end because I have already written a history I guess. For sharing this experience with guys is- those who want to have a bike in low budget can go for this bike and they will not be disappointed. But this bike is not for those riders who want top speed, fast acceleration and outstanding looks.
