Bajaj has recently launched a new bike in their 160cc segment which is
Bajaj Pulsar N160. When this bike has launched in the market in India Since then it has been liked a lot because it has the feel of a fully naked sports bike. After then this bike come to the Bangladeshi market and I purchased it. I have been using this bike for the last few days, so I think it would be better to share some pros and cons of it. It might be helpful for a potential customer and will get a clear concept.
The main reason to buy this bike is that it has a Dual channel ABS breaking system which makes this bike unique from others bikes in this segment. Without that, it has also attractive looks, FI tech, an oil-cooled engine, and a 300mm big size disc plate which make this bike fulfilled.
Some good sides to this bike.
• First I would like to say about its engine. The engine is very refined and no vibrations have been felt till now.
• The sound of the exhaust is beautiful and it will feel like riding a bike with 250 or more cc.
• The headlight of this bike is very powerful; it doesn't seem to need extra light even on the highway.
• I personally like the infinity meter of the bike, the meter has a lot of information.
• Due to dual channel ABS, I can ride the bike with full confidence.
• Its handlebar position is very good, for which I can ride comfortably even in the city.
• Mileage is also good during the breaking period. I am getting 40-42 in the city now. The ride on the highway hasn't happened yet. But after the breaking period hopefully, I will get 45+ in the city.
• The grip of the 100-size front and 130-section tires at the rear is very good.
• The pillion seat is very comfortable.
• The side stand indicator is very useful.
Some bad sides of this bike
• Its rear sock suspension is very hard.
• The engine guard plastic quality was not good for me.
• I didn’t like the sound of the horn.
• The most troublesome thing is that its engine oil is 1300 ml. It seems like a hassle to me.
• The indicators are halogen bulbs which seem incompatible with this bike to me.
This was my Bajaj Pulsar N160 riding short experience. I think everyone can ride this bike. Because it seems like a combo bike to me. But those whose height is below 5'5/6" will have a little problem with height + weight. The weight of the bike is very high, but the weight distribution is very good. Thank you all.
