Getting low mileage – TVS Apache RTR user Shabuj Khan

By taking the name of almighty and thanking team motorcycle valley today I am here to express my very own riding experiences with my bike. Among my words I am going to share all kind of riding experiences of mine and along with that few good and bad things. I am Shabuj Khan, by the profession I am a business man and I live in a small town named Horian, Rajshahi. I have been using the most popular 150cc bike TVS Apache RTR 150cc for 2 years. The main reasons to buy this bike were my passion about motorcycle and also make my business work easier. Before this bike I had no personal bike but I have used many motorcycles by borrowing from others. When I was about to buy this bike I already know that TVS Apache RTR 150cc is one of the first row motorcycles in the Bangladeshi market and there were no doubt about the brand as well so I didn’t hesitated to grab this bike and without any uncertainty I bought TVS Apache RTR 150cc. as I said two years passed and now I know many things about this bikes performance or the overall features, today I am going to share some of my good and bad ridding experiences with you all. So let us not waste time and talk about the real matter.

I want to start with the design of this bike and in one word I want to say the design is very good. Anyone will notice this bike for its muscular look and that makes me happy. Not only the design or color combination satisfied me, I am also satisfied with the build quality of this bike. I have already made few long journeys and I have also ridden at the off kind of roads, my experience says this bike will last for a long time. I am totally pleased.

Secondly I want to share few words about the riding experiences, I mean the comfort. This bike is very enjoyable for riding according to my opinion. Over all build structure of this bike is perfect, the sitting position is very good and beside the sitting position the handlebar is also combined perfectly and offers great comfort. Riding with pillions is also comfortable enough for me; I don’t know how the others feel. During night journeys my bike makes me feel relaxed because of the powerful headlamp and electrical support. The switches are also well designed and placed for using, so on the whole I have to say I enjoy riding with my bike.

One of the important part o this 150cc bike where la the peoples complaints a lot is the controlling, talking about that I must say I haven’t seen any kind of this problem which makes me feel that this bike is not good enough at the controlling. Most of the people say that Apache vibrates at top speed but I didn’t feel that much. The braking system is very good but both the rear and front suspensions are very well performing. The tyres are well gripped and it doesn’t skid much on the roads. I am satisfied with the controlling of my bike, and cannot realize why people places too much complain.

Last but the most important experience I want share about my bike is the engine performance which I personally experienced. I have heard that this bike is known as the speed king and after using this I started feeling it. No lacking at the power and that’s why the engine can speed up the bike with no time. I really enjoy the acceleration of this bike. Other thing I liked about the engine is the sound of it, it really touches my heart. Though after all this I am not totally satisfied with the mileage but I must say it is good enough to go with. At present I am getting 40 KM/L mileage but I think it should be better if it provides me around fifty.

Good sides:
-Good speed.
-Comfortable bike.
-Good controlling.
-Well designed.

Bad sides:
-Low mileage.

My experience after visiting the servicing center was not bad at all. All of them are well behaved and their fixing is also very satisfactory. Finally I want to say, based on the features this bike contains and using them personally I think the price is little bit higher. I personally think the company can provide such good design, powerful engine bike in little bit lower price. So those who are thinking of buying this bike than go ahead if it fits in your budget, and I hope you will not regret.
