Hero Glamour Fi Features Review

Among them one of the popular Hero motorcycle was Hero Glamour and now hero has launched this bike with FI (Fuel Injection) system, new graphics, and features which can attract the users easily.

The new edition Hero Glamour Programmed Fi is a fuel-injected mid-segment commuter motorcycle from Hero MotoCorp. There are lots of improvement which are added to this bike, include a better throttle response, dependable mileage and style with great comfort. Design and riding comfort
The Hero Glamour Fi provides a fashionable design that would attract the young age riders as a commuter, along with its targeted group the commuter lovers. Stylish new front kits, extra ordinary mixing graphics and the three new colors with great combination can offer better style than before. For better riding changes are also made at the dimensions. Wheelbase is shortened and the ground clearance has been enlarged for better riding and cornering. This bike is now larger in every side than the previous model. New dimensions are 2023 mm length, 766 mm width and 1091 mm height. Not only the new style and dimensions of this bike, Hero also offers the rider a classic commuter-style upright riding position, which minimizes stress applied on the lower back and wrists of a rider, for this reason enhanced comfort while riding for long durations is expected from this bike. The fuel tank capacity is reduced but the Kerb weight of this bike is improved for better controlling at good speed.







Engine
New Hero Glamour programmed -FI is powered by an air-cooled single cylinder 124.7cc engine which can give a maximum power output of 11.5 bhp @ 7000 rpm and max torque of11 Nm torque @ 6000 rpm. This bike contains 4-speed gearbox. This part of the engine almost remains the same as the previous models accept little upgrades at the power and torque. But the engine is now equipped with Electronic Fuel Injection (programmed-Fi) instead of a carburetor for fuel delivery. Advantages of a fuel-injection system include accurate fuel delivery, better throttle response, and a more reliable mileage, while get rid of the hassle of operating a regulator valve as in carbureted bikes. The Glamour Fi also includes Advanced Swirl Flow Induction System (ASFS) technology which aids in more efficient combustion of fuel, so improving mileage can be get without losing the power.

Suspensions and Brakes
Brakes and the suspensions remains the same at the both models of Glamour. At the front suspension this bike has Telescopic forks and for the rear side pair of hydraulic shock absorbers is placed. Hero is hopping for the best that these suspensions will provide better comfort. The rear shock absorbers can be adjusted to balance for the load applied on the bike. at the braking this bike It has a 240 mm Dia, Pad - Non-asbestos type disc brake at the front, and a internal expanding shoe type - 130 mm liners - non-asbestos type drum brake at the rear wheel. These brakes can give better performance from than the previous glamour.







Electrical and meter console
At the electrical side this bike is build with 12 V - 3 Ah (MF4) battery, 12 V - 35W/35W - Halogen Bulb, (MFR) head lamp, LED Tail lamp, 12 V - 10Wx4 (Amber Bulb) with Clear Lens (MFR) Turn lights and Pass Lights. Programmed Fi: One of biggest change of this bike is FI system. The programmed FI system insert the right quantity of fuel into the cylinder, calculated by the data received throughout hi-tech sensors. The all-new Glamour Fi, offers excellent drivability, best fuel efficiency, lower emission and instant start for this system.

Real Time Mileage Indicator: With Real Time Mileage Indicator, riders have the power to control mileage by displaying the fuel consumption in real-time. This feature is very helpful at the critical situations when the bike will be out of fuel and need to ride on.



Bank Angle Sensor: With the help of Bank Angle sensor this bike cuts fuel supply to the engine if the bike exceeds a certain lean angle. Because whenever bike gets into those position accidents can take place and if somehow the fuel leakage occurred then big explosion can come about. Without that fuel supply also being compromised at that type of position and regular flow of fuel is hassled. That’s why the sensor stop the fuel supply to the engine and the engine turned off.

Mileage and speed
Extracting the mileage is the core work of FI technology and at this bike that technology works properly. The mileage of this bike has been improved so much after placing the FI system and now it can easily provide 70 KM/L + mileage instead of 50 KM/L mileage like the previous model. Top sped remains almost similar but sometimes new version is better says the users. Top speed of this bike is approx 100-105 KM/H.
