Hero Glamour Vs Bajaj Discover 125ST
Different categories and segments of motorcycles are now available in our country. Among them Sports and commuter category motorcycles are very popular to the riders. Sports bikes are fittest for the high way roads in our country basis, because there is lots of traffic jams in our country. That is why a bigger part of the motorcycle lovers prefers commuter category motorcycles for their transportation. Different brands from dissimilar countries represent those motorcycles for the users. At the local market when we talk about commuter motorcycles two motorcycles are loved by all, and they are Hero Glamour 125 and Bajaj Discover 125 ST. These two Indian motorcycles are both well featured and at the 125cc segments both are best from their companies. From bellow the lines we will compare the main features of these two motorcycles for the better information.
Design and Dimension:
At the design both these motorcycles have decent outlooks with great color combination. Both are perfectly designed and they are able to attract the riders. Without good dimension their designed won’t be perfect so at the dimension these bikes are also very well made. At the dimension Hero Glamour 125 has 2005mm length, 735mm width, 1070mm height. At the ground clearance it has 150mm and at the wheelbase it has 1265mm. this bike contains a kerb weight of 125 KG. On the other hand Discover 125 ST has a dimension of 1980mm length, 760mm width, and 1078mm height. At the ground clearance it has 170 mm and at wheelbase it has 1305mm. This bike contains a kerb weight of 124.5 KG. So we can say with this type of dimension riders will get good control during their ride at both these bikes.
Engine quality:
Without quality engine vehicles are good for nothing. That is why Hero and Bajaj don’t compromise at this side with their products. Hero Glamour contains 124.7cc 4-stroke single cylinder OHC engine with 6.72 KW (9BHP) @ 7000 RPM max power and 10.35 N-m @ 4000 RPM max torque. This engine is able to give top speed of 100KM/H speed. Other side Discover 125 ST has an engine of 4 Valve Twin Spark Air Cooled 125cc engine. This engine can produce 13 Ps @ 9000 rpm max power and 1.1 kgm @ 7000 rpm max torque. With this type of engine riders will get a top speed 110 KM/H. that means at this side as a commuter category motorcycle both these motorcycles are perfectly made.
Suspensions and brakes:
These two things are the safety gears of a motorcycle and both bikes are well made at this side. Hero Glamour contains Telescopic hydraulic shock absorbers suspension at the front and Rectangular Swing arm with 5 step adjustable hydraulic shock absorber suspension at the rear side. At the braking it has the combination of Disc and Drum Brakes. Other side Discover 15 ST contains Telescopic suspension at the front and Nitrox Monosock suspension at the rear side. Breakings of this bike is also similar with Glamour which is combination of Disc and drum Brakes.
So at last we can say both these bikes are well featured and designed. Some side of Glamour is perfect and some side of Discover is perfect.
