Hero Honda Hunk 150 ownership review by Tamal Das

I think in modern world motorcycle is the symbol of stylish vehicles. Without style it is very much capable to provide comfort which makes a rider very happy. People of every ages and standard can afford and ride this enjoyable vehicle with pleasure for their better pass through. For easy and fast movement we all need a vehicle, and if the vehicle is driven by you is the most pleasant thing. In our country cars and motorcycles are most popular as personal vehicles. From my childhood I always have a soft corner for motorcycles from these two vehicles. I am a regular motorcycle user and I enjoy my motorbike riding every single day with my bike.

My name is TAMAL DAS by the profession I am a businessman. As I remember it was 2004 when I learned to ride a motorcycle because of my own passion about this vehicle. I had learned motorcycle riding with Yamaha –RX motorcycle. After that I had driven many motorcycles. Whenever I got time and opportunity to ride a bike I used to go for a drive with bikes. Few years past like this and my passion becomes my daily need. For different purpose like study, hangout and my business I need a vehicle for my own. I think of myself what should be the better vehicle then motorcycle. I decided to have my own motorcycle and started to search for well feature motorcycle budget was not a big issue at that time. It was 2009 when I made my mind to have a bike and I was lucky because on that time a well featured motorcycle from Hero Honda was already lunched at the market. It was Hero Honda Hunk motorcycle. After I saw this bike at first glance I just loved this bike. Few days later I bought this bike from SARKAR ENTERPRISE which is placed at my own city Rajshahi. For seven years I am riding this bike and from the very first day I am satisfied with its performance. Now I will share some of my experiences with my bike.

As I said before I just love this bike and totally satisfied there must be some reasons then? Yes, I have. Controlling and comfortness of this bike is the most pleasant thing which I enjoyed the most. Whenever I ride my bike I didn’t faced any problems with the controlling, it is not designed much straighter or lower and for this the seating position is perfect for me that’s why I feel very comfort at the riding period. Better and quality full brakes and suspension makes the riding experience more comfortable. In my view this bike has overall good dimension and for this controlling this bike at off roads and on roads is much easier thought is much heavier bike then other 150cc bikes. I use my bike for city travelling more than long journeys. At the city roads its performance made me so pleasant. Like the city roads I didn’t faced any bigger problem at the long journeys. I have travelled to natore, Bogra, nachol and many more places with my bike and in one day I have experienced 200 Km riding but I was comfortable and most importantly I didn’t faced any back pain.

Mileage and speed is not an issue for me because I always want style and comfort and better controlling. All three things are available in my bike so I do not have headache at this side but I can say both side of my bike is pleasant. I calculated my mileage at the begining, it was 42-45 KM/L and after seven years it giving me 35 KM/L. I always ride my bike at 60-70 KM/H speed but I have got 118 KM/H top speed with my bike.

Pros:

- Excellent controlling with superb comfort.
- Good brakes.
- Until now engine is intact.
- Engine is smoother and the sound is good.
- High class battery and tyre quality.

Cons:

- Low quality headlight.
- Rear suspension can be better.
- Chain quality can be better.

I didn’t take care of my bike that much I always prefer servicing center for my bikes tuning. I didn’t have to change any big things with my bike. I use the better and high quality engine oil for my motorcycles engine and I always prefer petrol. At past I used the mixture of petrol and octane but it is harmful for bikes engine.

Few years passed Hero Honda Company divided and Hero take over the whole business. Present days I heard many complains about Hero Hunk but I can say former Hero Honda Hunk motorcycle is one of the finest creation of Hero Honda. And it is one of the most durable one.
