Hero Hunk User Review by Masud Mahmud

I am Masud Mahmud, I am a student and also like to represent myself as a biker. I have learned bike riding with Jailing 80 and it was my fathers. Many years have passed away and I have ridden many bikes but now I have my very own bike named Hero HUNK. Because of the request of team motorcycle valley I am sharing my own opinions about my bike. Please stay with me.

I was school student when my father used to drop me at school with his bike. From then I wanted to ride bikes but because of my age I feel shy to tell my father. One day I told my father and he took me to open field and teaches me bike riding. After that I used to ride my father bike. I spend my college life with this 80cc bike and after admitted to varsity I sold this bike. I was feeling lonely without bike and on that time I heard about the Hero EID Upohar and without wasting any time I visited the Ranibazar showroom placed at Rajshahi and pay the money for Hero HUNK 150.



My main motive to buy this bike was better transportation. Along with that my budget was low and I wanted to buy a muscular bike also so it was perfect for me. For two months I am using this bike and I didn’t face any bigger problem till now.




Truth is I really love this bike for a long time and always wanted to buy this bike. Without any hesitation this bike comes with great design. And most importantly my bike is the latest model of 2017 that’s why I have got new graphics as well which I love. And I think the build quality is also very strong of this bike. I just love the comfort of this bike because overall seating position, handlebar footrest all are well in position to make you comfortable. Electrical are also effective like the headlamp offer good power at the night riding but one thing which disappoints me is the switches, they are not up to date and low in quality.



Talking about the controlling of my bike I would say I am pleased. I can tackle any kind of situations with my bike. My bike is still in break-in-period so I ride with care and I have accelerated my bike once to 82 KM/H speed which will be increased. On the other hand braking of my bike is superb I think both side Disc brakes are very helpful along with the better quality suspensions.




Comfort and safety both are found at any kind of roads. But I must say about a negative side and that is its tires. As a 150cc bike both tire are thinner and it doesn’t goes with the looks so it can be wider.




The worst thing about my bike is its mileage range. For first 600 kilometers I have got 25-30 KM/L mileage which is really disappointing. After the first servicing I am getting now 35-40 KM/L mileage but Niloy motors the sole distributor of Hero claims that it will provide at least 50 KM/L mileage. Let me inform you that I am using the recommended and provided engine oil from the company.

Now I like the behavior and work ability of the servicing center but when I first visited their showroom they didn’t behave like now they do. Over all according to the price this bike is muscular and comes with powerful engine and that makes me satisfied.
If you ask about my own ratings for this bike I will give 4/5.
