Hero Moto Corp and Bajaj Auto are the biggest two wheelers and three wheelers manufacturer in India. These two companies not only manufacture motorcycles but they also import their motorcycles to different countries. Many motorcycles will be found in our country roads from both these companies. Among them different designs, categories are also available. At the commuter category motorcycles in Bangladesh there are two popular motorcycles are existing from both these companies and they are Hero iSmart 100 and Bajaj Discover 100. These two motorcycles are well featured and designed at the 100cc category and their prices are also reasonable. So let’s check out their common features by comparing them from bellow the lines which will be helpful to know why they are so popular at this commuter category.
Dimension:
Body dimension of a motorcycle is really important because without good dimension outlooks will not be so attractive. As 100cc commuter motorcycles both motorcycles contain first-class dimension. Hero iSmart contains Single Cylinder, Air cooling Four Strokes 97cc engine. This engine can produce 7.6 BHP max power and 8 NM max torque. at the top speed this bike will reach 85 KM/H Speed (Approx). Mileage of this motorcycle is 90 KM/L (Approx) which is the best mileage at the commuter category. On the other hand Bajaj discover has 95cc Single cylinder, 4 stroke, air cooled engine with 8 bhp @ 7500 rpm max power and 7.85 @ 5000rpm max torque. This bike can give a top speed of 95 KM/H (Approx) and at the mileage it will give 75 KM/L (Approx) mileage which is also well. So at the engines both bikes are well made.
Suspension and Brakes:
Safety and comfortness of a rider depends on both these two things and at this side both are well made. At the suspensions iSmart has Telescopic Hydraulic Shock Absorbers suspension at the front side and Swingarm with 5-step adjustable hydraulic shock absorber suspension at the rear side. At the brakes this bike contains Drum brakes at the both side. On the other side Discover 100 contains Telescopic suspension at the front side and Nitrox suspension at the rear side. at the brakes both motorcycles are the same.
