Hero Xtreme Sports Double Disc 150 VS Apache RTR 150 Double Disc
In Bangladesh popularity of motorcycles are increasing day after day. At the local market different motorcycles can be found with different categories. Among them at the motorcycle market Hero Xtreme 150 and TVS apache RTR 150 both has a large popularity range. These two motorcycles are from different companies but their price range and configuration are almost alike. At present days Hero and TVS motorcycle company has upgraded these two motorcycles at their features and Braking system. These two modified version is now known as Hero Xtreme Sports Double Disc 150 and Apache RTR 150 Double Disc. Let’s compare their features from bellow the lines which will be helpful to know about these two new versions.Outlooks and Dimension:
Outlooks are one of the important causes of attraction, and at this side these two motorcycles won’t let down the riders. These two motorcycles have good sporty outlooks with good color combination. Outlook of Hero Xtreme Sports double disc is much stylish then Hero Xtreme that’s why riders like this bike more than Xtreme. On the other side RTR double Disc is almost same at the outlooks as RTR 150. So at one word both are perfectly made at the outlooks. At the dimension these two motorcycles carries good dimension. Hero Xtreme contains a dimension of 2100mm length, 765mm width and 1080mm height. It has ground clearance of 145mm and wheelbase of 1325mm. On the other side TVS Apache has almost same dimension but the ground clearance of this bike is far better than Hero Xtreme which is 165mm. This motorcycle has a kerb weight of 137 KG and Xtreme sports contain a weight of 146 KG that’s why at the top speed this bike won’t vibrate.
Engine:
At this side there are no changes at Apache RTR double Disc but there are some changes at Xtreme sports double Disc. Hero Xtreme sports double Disc has a engine of 149.2cc 4 - stroke single cylinder OHC engine. This type of engine can produce 15.2 bhp @ 8500 rpm max power and 13.5 Nm @ 7000 rpm torque. This engine can give a top speed of approximate 135 KM/H. Other hand TVS Apache RTR double Disc contains 150cc 4-stroke, single cylinder, air-cooled engine. This engine can create 11.19 kW (15.2 bhp) @8500 rpm max power and 13.1 Nm @ 4000 rpm max torque. This type of engine is the best quality engine at the 150cc category. This engine can give a top speed of 150 KM/H.
Suspension and brakes:
Main changes which these two companies made at these two bikes are their suspensions and brakes. At the suspensions hero Xtreme Sports Double Disc has Telescopic suspension at the front side and Rectangular Swing Arm suspension at the rear side. At the brakes these motorcycles is featured by both side Disc Brakes. Other hand TVS Apache has used same configured Brakes and suspensions. It has also Disc brakes at the both side. So without any doubt both these bikes will give supper braking and with the help of good suspensions they will also give comfortable riding.
