Hero Xtreme Vs TVS Apache RTR
In our country Bangladesh motorcycles are becoming very popular day after day, and represent those motorcycles many different companies from different countries are available. In them Indian motorcycles are very popular in our country at the present days. In Indian motorcycle manufacturing companies Hero and TVS motorcycles are in the availability list and their popularity range is very high. In their product list two latest models can be found, and they are Hero Xtreme 150 and other one is Apache RTR 150. Both these motorcycles are well featured and contain sporty outlooks. But the question is which one is better. It is very difficult to say which one is better because the answer will vary with different situation and to different riders. So let’s compare these two motorcycles from bellow the lines, it will be helpful to the rider to decide which one is better for themselves.Outlooks:
Outlooks of a motorcycle is one of the most important thing to attract a riders and at this side these two motorcycles won’t disappoint the riders. These two motorcycles have good sporty outlooks with good color combination. But apache RTR 150 is sportier then Xtreme that’s why riders prefers Apache more than Xtreme. But both are perfectly made at the outlooks.
Dimension:
Dimension is very important for good and smooth riding. Good dimension will give good cornering, turning and control for the riders and at this side both this bike are almost similar. Hero Xtreme contains a dimension of 2060mm length, 765mm width and 1145mm height. It has ground clearance of 145mm and wheelbase of 1325mm. On the other side TVS Apache has almost same dimension but the ground clearance of this bike is far better than Hero Xtreme which is 165mm. This motorcycle has a kerb weight of 137 KG and Xtreme contains a weight of 145 KG that’s why at the top speed this bike won’t vibrate much.
Engine:
This side is the most important side of a vehicle and at this side both these motorcycles are handsomely created. Hero Xtreme has a engine of 149.2cc 4 - stroke single cylinder OHC engine. This type of engine can produce 10.6 KW (14.4 Ps) @ 8500 rpm max power and 12.80 Nm @ 6500 rpm torque. This engine can give a top speed of approximate 130 KM/H. Other hand TVS Apache RTR contains 150cc 4-stroke, single cylinder, air-cooled engine. This engine can create 11.19 kW (15.2 bhp) @8500 rpm. This type of engine is the best quality engine at the 150cc category. This engine can give a top speed of 150 KM/H.
Suspension and Brakes:
At the suspensions Hero Xtreme has Telescopic Hydraulic Type at the front and Rectangular Swing Arm with 5 steps Adjustable Gas Reservoir Suspension at the rear side. At the brakes it has the combination of both Disc and Drum brakes. On the other side Apache contains almost the same suspensions and braking. So both these bikes are comfortable enough to ride safely.
So at last we can say without the engine every side of both these motorbikes is almost alike. So now it is up the riders to decide. But it can be said these two motorcycles are the best of their companies at the 150cc segments.
