Engine and transmission
For the Engine of Activa 125 manufacturing company provided newly developed 124.9 cc air cooled engine which produces 8.52bhp max power at 6500rpm and 10.54Nm of maximum torque at 5000rpm. The scooter comes with HET (Honda Eco Technology) and this technology claims to improve efficiency without compromising on overall performance. As a result this scooter will delivers 60 KM/L mileage along with approx 84 KM/H speed which is claimed by the company. Compression ratio of this engine is 9.8:1 viscous paper air filter is placed for the engine for better performance. This engine comes with automatic transmission gear box and both kick and self starting methods are placed to start up the engine.
