Right now it is 8.08pm and the date is 26.07.2020. I was thinking to write something about my Honda Hornet 160R as I have just completed to ride 31000 kilometers. I am 34 years old passionate Bangladeshi rider, who loves to ride motorcycle just to have mental satisfaction by having entertainment, joy, comfort and some others feelings from this machine.

I have already traveled 59 districts out of 64 with beautiful machine. This one serves me the total confident of ride freely on the road. This muscular look, more than good enough breaking system always let me have the top most joy when I am on the worst type of road condition. A true bike lover always expect a bike that will provide the best confident while riding on the highways. As a biker he has to travel a lot and to cover that ride the biker’s bike must have some characteristics including the point of speed, breaking, control, comfortable seating position and also the parts of the motorcycle in retail price. I am having all with my Honda Hornet 160R which is the amazing part of this motorcycle in my point of view. Although, this was not so easy to having these all.

I have felt some serious issues in my motorcycle while riding the distance of 31000 kilometers but I want to Thank Almighty why because, by the bless of him I found some technical persons who solves all those issues and my motorcycle is still running quite smoothly just as my expectation. The problems I have faced I think most of the Hornet users faced these as well because BHL didn’t concentrate to recover these.

The first long ride I have with this motorcycle on the Kushtia with the team EMC. Nest I have completed touring on Gazipur, Mymensingh, Noakhali, Lakshmipur, Cumilla, Feni, Khagrachori, Rangamati, Bandarban, (Tindu, Alikadam, Dim Pahar, Thanchi), Cox’sbazar, Chottogram, Savar, Manikganj, Tangail, Sirajganj, Bogra, Dinajpur, Iswardi, Thakurgaon, Pachagar, Nilphamari, Rangpur, Kurigram, Rajbari, Faridpur, Madaripur, Jessore, Khulna, Bagerhat with my beloved Hornet. Before the lockdown due to corona, I have enjoyed a lot the ride in the side of Border line. The roads were any problem to me rather my believe level always was in the top just because of the performance of my Hornet.

I always use stock spare parts just ignoring the Engine oil for my motorcycle. In first 2000 kilometers I have used Honda 10w30 stock engine oil up to 8000 kilometers I was using Repsole 10w30 synthetic. Right now I am running with Motorex 10w30 polysynthetic. I always made basic service of my motorcycle after each tour but 3rd mandatory service according to the user manual had taken after 31000 kilometers. In this service there is merely any major change on my motorcycle but the Carburetor chamber and tuning. My bike has served me 31000 kilometers without any major problem. Now I want to make something new in my motorcycle and it is good to say that I could run my motorcycle more 5000 kilometers with the stock parts but I want to make it new through some change on it.

So I have changed the Spark plug, Air filter, Accelerator cable, Break shoe, Break pad, front and rear tire, front and rear chain sprocket, Chain set, Headlight and I done these all with the hands of Technician Sujon of Baridhara, he did these all with his well adapted hands. I hope and pray that I will be able to share the top most experience of this motorcycle until there is a motorcycle available on the same category.
