I am Shahriar Rabbi, a bike lover. Personally, I don't ride the Hornet 160 CBS bike very much now, but I have been using the bike for several months as a family source. I have my own bike, Pulsar NS160, which is the most ridden. Since I have been using this Honda Hornet 160 CBS bike for several months now I will share some of my own experiences and opinions with this bike.
I have ridden this bike for more than 10 thousand km so far. After a ride of 10,000 km, I will share some of my experiences with you about how this bike looks or how it serves me.
Look - I don't think the look is aggressive, but I like the graphics of the current version from the previous version, but the design and looks of the bike is what it is !! I think the design of this bike should be changed. There is no aggressive feeling in the bike. The white ground looks like a bike. Those who like elegant design bikes love to see this design
Controlling - any street seemed perfect to me. Never skid. There is a benefit to keeping the wheel thick. And a lot depends on the rider. I feel very good about controlling this bike.
Breaking - I am satisfied with breaking CBS. Al-hamdulillah !!! I like CBS a little better than ABS. Although I don’t have any ABS bikes of my own.
Mileage - Honda is always in the best position with mileage. In the city I got mileage from this bike at 45 km per liter and on the highway I got 50 + -. For the riding style and fuel quality the mileage can be more or less. However, I would say that the mileage is good enough as a 160cc bike.
Seating position - Alhamdulillah for the rider !! However, in the case of Pillion, I felt a little uncomfortable on the long tour. I got this experience by riding about 300 km with this bike continuously.
Headlights - Headlights seem to be low enough. It would be better to just change the head light bulb like in version 1 without changing the original head. Meanwhile, I like the size of the bike's headlamp.
Top Speed - I didn't try to pick up a very high speed. But I picked up 119. I don't know if I can get more or how much I can get. As a 160cc bike, I think the engine power, torque, ready pick up of this bike is less. For these reasons, many people say that the top speed of the bike does not get much.
I think it would have been better if this Honda Hornet 160 CBS had made some changes. Those are –
1. It would be good to have engine killing switch. Because if you fall into a traffic jam in the city, you have to turn off the ignition to turn on the engine and then turn on the ignition to turn on the engine.
2. It would have been better if there was an option of light change.
3. It would have been better to increase the power pick-up a little more.
4. Throttle response was not felt very well according to 160 cc.
5. There is no problem in the chain now. But sometimes it seems that the chain sounds like version 1.
6. It would have been better if the seat was split. For this split seat, Pillion will be able to sit comfortably and enjoy every long ride.
I have used Honda's official watch 10w30 since engine oil 6000 kilometers. Now I am using the original semi synthetic 10w30.
All in all, according to the price of this bike, the engine and design of the bike seemed right to me. However, at present, if more bikes are brought in the market at lower prices with more features, customers will get a lot of response. This was my opinion of the Honda Hornet 160CBS.
