Honda CD80 user review by Saif Bin Sajjad

Firstly I want to introduce myself, I am Saif Bin Sajjad and at present I am doing my studies. I live in Puthia, Rajshahi. For the last four years I am using one of the most popular 80 cc bike in Bangladesh named Honda CD 80. This bike is really a popular and among the older ones because I have seen my grandfather using this motorcycle. Though it is my father’s motorcycle but for my study purpose and to complete my family works along with my own traveling I use this bike most of the time. I like to travel with bike at the off days so almost every day I use this motorcycle. Today I am here to share my very own riding experiences with you all and I want to thank team motorcycle valley for creating me this kind of opportunity.

Let us start with the design. There is nothing to say special about the design because we all know that this bike has a decent looks. There are no extra body kits on this bike but few are there and all are well design and placed, I like them. On the other side the build quality is very hard and durable because I haven’t seen any lacking with the build quality within these four years. So I am pleased with these two both.

Talking about the comfort I will say the seating position is softer enough for riding, seat height is good and the position of the rider is perfect for seating for long time. This bike vibrates while at good speed and little bit of pain is felt at the hand on that time. I have personally faced back and wrist pain problem during long journeys because I have traveled 100 kilometers in one day with this bike. So I think this bike is not for long journeys. Electrical switches are every easy to use but the suspensions are not so effective because they cannot offer stability at the rough conditions. So overall this bike is not a comfortable bike for riding at all.

Engine side is good of this bike because no extra heating or sound is seen till now but the chains et is not up to the mark and makes noise. Engine offers good acceleration and it is powerful. On the other side I am not that much pleased with the engine because the mileage is not sufficient of this bike. Though I cannot say the exact mileage but after filling the tanker and using it I can say the mileage is not that good as an 80cc commuter.
Quality of their service center is very good. But price of this bike seems high to me.
