Honda Hornet user review by Murshalin

My name is MD. Murshalin and basically I am a student. My current address is in Baliapukur of Rajshahi city. Same time with my study, I help my father in his business and for this reason I always have to move here and there same time, riding a bike is something like an addiction of me. I learn to ride bike with Hero Splendor and just after learning, I never keep aloof myself from any chance to have a ride of a bike. I have ridden so many bike including FZS, Apache RTR and many others but there was a zeroness inside of mind why because, I don't have a bike of my own. I was thinking to make a proposal to my parents to gift me bike and very surprisingly they agreed with my proposal. I chose “Honda Hornet” after a lot of selections. I purchase my Honda Hornet from “Mithun Honda” which is located in the Banesshor of Rajshahi. The main reason to purchase this bike, is passionate desire to have a bike and to help my father in his business. Its been 2.5 months since I am using my bike and I have ridden near around 2000 kilometers.

Engine is equally important for all class rider and as to say about the Engine of my bike? It is good say. It stops suddenly even on the running. On the other hand, I never feel that it becomes hot so easily and not even any bad sound. I have picked up the top speed of 105 kilometer per hour and I can mention that the speed easily can go higher same time, I don't feel anything negative to pick up such speed.

Its design is just amazing in my view and Its the Design by which I choose this one. Plastic parts over its body are seem to be very much strong in my view. I faced normal accident several times but I never sense anything negative on the plastic parts on my bike.

I have to travel a long distance to complete my business and to make over this distance, I sensed that its seating position is pretty good and comfortable. I never feel any problem to touch the ground from the seating position. I think no one going to feel any problem to ride this bike whatever the height of the rider. As I have mentioned in the top that, I have ridden this bike in the top speed of 105 kilometer per hour and I don't feel any irritation in my hands or in my body. I made a tour in Tanore upazila of Rajshahi district and made a tour of long time but no problem till then. Don't even any pain in any part of my body.

Switches are really nice why because those are made with excellent quality and excellent feelings while using. But one thing is make me feel unhappy, this bike has no Engine kill switch and no switch of the headlight. I have to travel in the night very often and to complete this travel properly, headlight is one of the key parts and I am having the exact support from the headlight of my bike and I think the quantity of light of my bikes headlight is good enough to have the clear view of the front. I have traveled 250 kilometers a day and found the breaking system is good enough but new people over this bike may take some time to adjust with the breaking system why because the breaking system is pretty hard and emergency type. Tyres grip is not so good in my view. Those skid in the emergency break. I have to ride my bike over the rough road very often and in this case suspensions have to play the key role but my bikes suspensions are not so as it should be. I have to tolerate a lot of shake whenever I am on the rough road condition. Ground clearance is also a serious matter of my bike whenever I cross the speed breaker.

When I am to purchase this bike, showroom salesman inform me that this will serve the mileage of 45 kilometers per liter but currently I am having the mileage of 38 kilometers per liter. Whatever, but I am positive with the mileage range of my bike.

As because the servicing center is far away from my home and for this reason, I never took any service of the servicing center but show far I can measure them while purchasing, they were pretty good in their behavior and their working environment was pretty nice as well. They have good numbers of equipment to serve the exact service I think.

By considering its overall sides. I think the price of my bike perfect with its performance and features. I am happy with the price range.

My bike has some negative parts as like: Problem in the chain, chain set emerge bad noise while shifting the gear, Engine often shut down while in the low speed.

My advice to the company is, they better take the proper steps on the negative sides of this bike. Chain set would have been then currently is same the suspensions.
