I thought I would buy a bike to travel from home to office and from office to home. Basically, since the arrival of ride sharing, I started linking to take that service. Because using the bike you can travel in a very short time. I also like bikes, so I kept thinking that if I take a bike, it is convenient to travel. I kept thinking and observing which bike should I prefer. Whichever bike I will go for I have to travel 40 kilometers per day with it, so I would prefer the bike that will offer better mileage. I thought I would take a 125 or 110 cc bike instead of a 150 cc bike. According to my budget and list of favorites included Glamor, Stryker and Livo. At the end of all, I selected the Honda Livo thinking about the mileage and brand value. I could have bought another 125cc bike on the same budget but the Honda Livo looked very stylish so I bought it. I bought the bike in December 2017 and the meter is showing 24,000 kilometers so far. I have had both good and bad experiences.
In my view, a few good sides of this bike,
-Stylish design
-Comfortable riding seat
-Wide range mileage
-Comfortable for riding
-I think this bike is alike 150cc bikes, because no other bike in 110 cc looks like that much muscular as Livo
I use 4 Honda engine oils on my bike first, then Motul Semi Synthetic 9-10 and so far I am using shell minerals. I like the sound of the engine and it is very smooth.
I get 55-60 KM/L mileage in the city and 63-65 km per liter on the highway. I am satisfied with the mileage.
Now let me tell you all about some bad sides I found about this bike.
-Riding seat I little bit higher, which is a problem for short riders
-AC operated headlamp and that is very annoying to me
-Comparing to other companies, body parts are much higher in price
-Problem at the chain set
I service the bikes according to the service schedule. All bikes have good and bad aspects and considering these you can choose a bike for you. This was my experience of riding 24,000 with Honda Livo.
In addition to office travel, I have made several one-day tours to several places with this bike. Even if you don't feel much of a problem on the highway, it is difficult for to overtake the vehicle as it is a low cc bike and if you ride at high speed, and the wind blows will hit you like arrows. Thanks for reading my review. Stay well everyone.
