Honda Shine user review by Kamal Hossain

At first I want to Thanks team MotorcycleValley as because they serve a chance uphold the review of my bike just after purchasing it. Its really an exciting matter for me to share my bikes review through them.

Well, my name is Kamal Hossain, professionally I am a teacher. My bikes name is Honda Shine 125cc and I purchase this bike mainly to maintain my personal works in time. Its been 3 months since I am using this bike and I have ridden around 700 kilometers without any accident so far. This is better to mention in the same time that, this one is the first bike of my life. Meanwhile, I never ride or took my bike on road without any major cause. I have seen so many people to use the same brands bike whenever I talk with them to suggest a bike in 125cc segment, they never took any time to suggest the one they using. By having all their advice, I pay visit to the showroom of Banesshor to have a direct look on it. I didn't take much time to select this one as mine one and took this bike to my home. But just after 10 days I faced first problem in my bike and it is on the matter of starting the engine.

This is hurtful for any biker to face problem in the new bike just inside of 10 days. There were so many negative thinking came into my mind after facing such incident. I was thinking the reason of such problem in the bike why because, the bike was from a brand like Honda. I took the bike in the servicing center 5 days later then I face the problem.

I detailed the whole problem to them and they assured me that this is not actually a problem. They were asking for a short time to fix the problem. I return to home after fixing my bike from servicing center but I have noticed the same problem in just a week. Meanwhile, I changed the Engine oil after running 340 kilometers. A local mechanic told me that this problem is emerging because of low class engine oil. I will change this Engine oil after riding 750 kilometer just to check the situation of the engine. I think the problem I faced may be for the reason of engine oil.

Whatever, I am going to share all of the point about my bike with you guy's today and I hope you are going to stay with me till the last.



I mainly like this bikes color and design which are really exciting in my view. This one made with an excellent combination of color and design. Same time, build quality is pretty nice so far I can feel meanwhile, the plastics over its body are strong enough to support for a long time. I believe that those are not going to broke in any simple clash. The design this bike has, I think it is going to suit with all the rider of any age.



Honda Shine 125cc has a wonderful engine and its performance is up to mark. My friend often praise its engine as this one is powerful then 125cc engine. When I have ride my bike with 2 pillions on my back, their words come to my mind. I never feel anything negative to ride this one even with 2 pillions on my back. I feel quite comfortable even then. As because the engine serving good performance, I am having good mileage as well.

When I am to purchase this one, showroom informs me that this will serve the mileage 55 – 60 kilometers per liter and very amazingly I am having the same mileage right now. So I am completely happy with this matter why because I found the similarity between their words and performance.



Along with the good design of this bike, this one has an excellent seating position as well. The number of my family member is 3 so this is very comfortable for me to ride my bike by taking my whole family over it. Its handlebar is pretty nice to hold on even for a long time. My bikes tyres and its grip are pretty good and same their performance are. I never feel any problem to have the proper control due its tyres. Meanwhile, the breaking system is fine enough to have the exact control. Specially for the disc break, this ones control is really special whatever the situation is.

Same time, its suspensions performance are up to the mark as well. Its suspensions hardly let me feel the condition of the road. I have picked up the top speed of 80 kilometers per hour and as I have mentioned in the top that I never took my bike on the road unless it is emergency that is why, I have ridden my bike maximum 35 kilometers a day.

I didn't feel any problem in the long ride. On the other hand, I have ridden in the night so many times and noticed that its headlight serve the good quantity of light in night to have the exact view like day light. Its switches on the handlebar are pretty good in quality and I never feel anything negative to use those. I don't have any complain on the matter of looking glass.
I have been to the servicing center just for once. But the problem I took to them and they solve but I am sorry to say that I have to face that again just after few days later. But their working environment is quite nice and they behave very gently with me. But whatever you say, I am not satisfied with the quality of their working.

Same time, I am dissatisfied with one more thing and it is the price of this bike. As because others bikes of the same segment in the market are low in price then this one.

At the last I want to say that, you can purchase this one by considering its Engines performance and the mileage. You are going to enjoy this one a lot ignoring the matter of price from my view and my claim to the company is, they should be serious about the problems that I have mentioned and many other mentioned different as they had faced.
