I started riding motorcycles about seven years ago when I bought a
Hero Splendor as a hobby, fulfilling my passion for biking. After using the Splendor for about two years, I felt the need for an upgrade to a better-performing bike. After that I purchased
Honda XBlade, which I used for around four and a half years. When higher cc motorcycles were permitted in Bangladesh, I wanted to upgrade to a more powerful bike.
There were several 250cc bikes available, but I ruled out two brands because their 150cc and 250cc models looked too similar. Initially, I didn’t know much about CFMOTO, but I used to watch bike races, and that’s where I first learned about the brand when CFMOTO won Moto3 2024. From that moment, I began researching CFMOTO through various sources.
The
Honda Hornet 2.0 was also on my list of favorites, but this time, I wanted something different. Since I had already owned a Honda, I explored other better options and ultimately chose CFMOTO. The main reason for selecting the 250NK is that I prefer naked sports bikes over fully-faired sports models. I felt that this bike would be perfect for me.
My Experience After 600 km
So far, I have ride my CFMOTO 250NK for about 600 km, and I would like to share my experiences.
Pros:
Design: Among all the available brands in Bangladesh, I believe there is no other naked sports bike as well-designed as this one. It has a striking and attractive look.
Control: The bike's handling is excellent. It feels stable and confidence-inspiring, making it easy to control in any situation.
Comfort: Based on my past experiences, this bike is very comfortable. It is perfect for riding on all types of roads in Bangladesh.
Braking System: A good braking system provides a sense of security while riding. The 250NK's brakes are highly effective, giving me great confidence on the road.
Mileage: After riding 600 km on various routes, I have recorded an average fuel efficiency of around 37 km per liter, which is incredible for a 250cc bike. I am highly satisfied with this mileage.
Additionally, although the bike felt a bit rough initially, it has become much smoother over time.
Cons:
Clutch: Initially, the clutch was very hard, making the bike a bit difficult to ride. However, after the first service, this issue has mostly resolved.
Pillion Seat: Riding this bike with a pillion is quite uncomfortable.
Horn Switch: The horn switch placement feels a bit inconvenient. I think it would have been better if it were positioned slightly closer. Since I was used to a different type of bike, I am still adjusting to this. However, I believe I will get used to it over time.
Final Thoughts
I am very happy with CFMOTO's service and their customer support. Their commitment to their users is impressive, and I am also highly satisfied with my bike’s performance. If I ever decide to upgrade in the future, I will definitely choose another CFMOTO model.
