I was fascinated by the test ride - Benelli TnT 150 user Hasan Ferdous

Depending on the road condition of our country Bangladesh two wheeler vehicles are getting popular day after day. Those whom are not interested in public transports are using motorcycle as their personal vehicle. Especially cities like Dhaka where the road jam is one of the biggest burden there are no instead of motorcycles these days for normal peoples. Most of the people use motorcycles for their office going and to drop their children and family members to their destination, it saves time and money both. I also do the same thing. Without waiting for the public transports I use a bike for my fast traveling and communication. I used to ride Keeway RKS 125 motorcycle before but for few days I am using one of the most awaited motorcycles which is also named escape machine Benelli TNT 150. So this is the second personal motorcycle which I am using and today I am going to share few of my first ride experiences about this motorcycle with you all and hope you will stay together till I am done.

Why I bought Benelli TNT?
After having a test ride of this bike I fall in love with the acceleration, braking and suspensions of this bike. Not only that I was also thinking to change my bike anyway. Even after riding this bike I was so much satisfied that I forget about the test rides of Roadmaster Rapido and Honda Hornet which I made, so after thinking about all these sides I bought this bike and took my baby home.

Engine performance of Benelli TNT
First of all this bike is in break-in period so I cannot say the exact performance of this bike. But taking about the top speed pressing the fifth gear at 5.5 RMP I have got 70 KM/H top speed till now. I didn’t find any vibration and at the high RMP this bike gets smoother than before.

Design
Benelli holds a good position at the top bike designers list in this world. Holding that reputation this bike also contains excellent design as a 150cc motorcycle. I really like the naked bike from the starting of my biking so I like the design of this bike for that reason and I am satisfied with it.

Build quality
Because this bike was never seen in our country before so I was worried about the build quality of this bike. I watched this bike while test ride and even at their showroom top to bottom. Though the tanker and the side kit of this bike is made of plastics but they are excellent in quality and for that reason it seem like a premium bike.

Seating position
Seating position of this bike is not aggressive so you will not face back pain or any other problem during long rides. Seating position is in the middle of sports and commuter category so it will offer great support for the riders.

Handlebar
Handle bar of this bike is not like the other sports category bike and not placed lower so as a city commuting bike is an ideal one.

Switches
Till now I am having fun using the switches but after using them for a long time I can say how they really are and their performance.

Headlamp
I personally like the power of the headlamp even at the low beam I find excellent focused light from this headlamp. Though I haven’t tested the high beam light yet at the long rides but once and I was satisfied. Most importantly the headlamp is not connected with the throttle and for that I can see the roads clearly at any kind of speed. If anyone here is a night ride lover than please insert LED lights for their better safety.

Speed
As I said before I haven’t tested the speed because my bike is still in break in period but using it for a while makes me feel that I can easily pass through 120 KM/H speed with this bike.

Brakes
This bike has one of the best braking at the non ABS braking category bikes. Because of the 130mm tyres and CBS braking I can use the brakes at any condition without facing any problems. I feel great confident using the brakes which I never get at any other bikes.

Suspensions
At the front side it has inverted fork suspensions which are the best in business. Not only that the rear Mono shock suspension is very soft and comfortable for using. I was worried because I thought the rear suspension can be harder like the other bikes at the begging but nothing happened like that. From the very begging the suspensions were comfortable.

Tyre
Front 100mm and rear 130mm tyres offer me excellent road grip. Till now Insha Allah I haven’t faced any difficulties with the tyres or the gripping.

Mileage
I cannot measure the exact mileage at present but after few days I think I can. But at present I am getting more than 40 and hope after few days it will increase more.

Service center
Speedoz is always concern about their servicing center quality but because now they have a huge bike stock so their quality is getting lower than before. But the good thing is their top management sector is appreciating this problem and they are committed to solve this problem within three months.

Price
Benelli is one of the most popular and premium Bike Company at the foreign countries and based on their quality and performance the price range of this bike is reasonable I have to admit that. This bike is about to launch in India and the expected price is one TK 100000 so comparing that in our country TK 180000 is perfect I think for the price tag of this bike.

Good sides
- Excellent braking
- Perfect controlling
- Satisfactory suspensions performance

Bad sides
- Though the meter panel is fully digital but no clock is located which is very useful thing to me.
- There no crush guard is placed so I have to be careful about the side kits.
- No space to place a washing fabric at this bike but I can place one at inside the side kits.
- Because it is a sports category bike that’s why the rear seat is higher and it looks good but it might create problems for the pillions and especially for the females.

My suggestion for those whom are interested to buy this bike
Before buying this bike give a test ride first, because it is your money so your choice is the priority. So don’t be sure after reading the reviews or don’t even listen to the other word. But according to me based on the price range this kind of bike is not available in our country. So if you had money you can buy a bike but before that please give a test ride and choose wisely, hope you will not be disappointed with this bike.
