KEEWAY RKS 125 v2 2016 Motorcycle Ownership Review by Fahim Adnan

From my childhood I always wanted to have my own bike but because of various reasons I cannot have a bike. I was one of the craziest lovers of Honda Unicorn but because of insufficient fund I was not able to buy this motorcycle. When I decided to have my own bike Honda Company banded the unicorn motorcycles. At that time many motorcycles were present at the market but they could not attract me that much and I was not pleased. One day I saw a man riding a white color motorcycle at the Shahbag Road, Dhaka, at a glance I become crazy about that bike but I couldn’t recognize the name. After one week I saw a red motorcycle at Dhanmondi road which was a 100cc motorcycle and collected the details immediately. When I entered the showroom I had to face a new problem. They discontinued the version one and the color combination of version two of 100cc was not the same. The released the version two RKS 125 in Bangladesh and at the same day I purchased that bike. Main reason for giving my review is to provide information about RKS 125 because many users wants to know about this motorcycle but no one responds, that is why I think of my own review.

My observation about my KEEWAY RKS 125 V2

Looks and style: There is nothing to say about my motorcycles outlook because I think one of the main reasons of its popularity is its outlooks. The outlooks of this motorcycle attracted the users the most. It is not handy, it is not decent but it is sweet in its outlooks which are very rare. Overall its looks and style is very uncommon and sweet.

Color: This motorcycle contains awesome color combination. As a 125cc motorcycle I think red, white and black all three colors are master piece in their color combination. Comparing them with each other is nothing but a waste of time. I decided to have the white color but when I saw the red one I become confused which one is better. At last I hold to my decision and purchased the white one.

Speed: I love this segment the most at this motorcycle.This motorcycle can generate speed very quickly at the 125cc segment. No bike is as good as it. Sometimes this motorcycle can beat 150cc bikes. At this point I want to share a funny thing which is, at the city Dhaka after the traffic signal breaks all riders tries to go faster. Almost all the days I saw I beat the 150cc bikes likes Pulsar and CB trigger but I can’t beat Apache because it is speed king. When I observed this thing I thought there must be something wrong but when I asked the other users they also said me the same thing. Most pleasant thing about this bike is it will not vibrate at good speed like other 150cc motorcycle.

Mileage: I am little bit confused about the mileage of my motorcycle. Now I am getting 35-40 KM/L mileage and I hope after servicing I will get 45-50 Km/L mileage.

Horn: At this side I am not pleased. I don’t like the Horn of this bike it does not suit with this bike.

Tyre: Tyre size of this motorcycle is really good. I didn’t remember the correct measurement of the tyre but I can say only FZS and Gixxer motorcycle tyres are larger than my bikes. Bad thing is tyres are not tubeless. I have to change it by my own.

Sound: Engine sound of this motorcycle is different hen the others. Few riders like the sound and few don’t but I love the engine sound of my motorcycle.

Light: At the lights there are no complains. Along with the head light every light works properly. But the problem is indicator light has no sound, if it has it could be better.

Controlling and suspension: Controlling of this bike is just awesome. Because this bike is little lower than the other that’s why it can be controlled easily and any kind of users like newcomers can control it easily I guess. But at the off roads I am not satisfied with the comfortness and the controlling because I feel vibration badly. I hoped more from this bike at this side. At the braking I will say it is not so bad at all.

Others: Last version of this model didn’t carry kick start with it but this feature is added to this new model. Most probably there was only one gear liver at the old model and it is upgraded for this new model and two livers are placed. For better speed and mileage few important changes are made to this new version but I can’t say the effects wright now, I guess in future I will.  

Servicing: In my personal view at this side Speedos limited has come across all the local distributers and made their servicing quality better. I just love their servicing style. To fix my bikes small problem an entire team of this service arrived at my house. This type of hospitality is very appreciable and no other company offers this.  

This entire review is described by my own words. These things can change because the things I like about my bike other users may not. Other hand those things I didn’t like you may like those. I can ensure one thing I provided my review with honesty and before giving my review I think for many times. I think a person earns money by their hard works so their money is very precious to them and they buy motorcycles with this money. So in my opinion wrong information can waste that money.
