Lifan KPR 150 20000 km ride review by Asim Nafis AdorI purchased my Lifan KPR 150 from Rasel Industry In February 2016. According to the company my bike break in period was 3 thousand km but I ended at 1500 km in my own responsibility. After driving 300 km I had changed first engine oil then 1000 km and start using Mobil 1 Racing 4T from 1500km.Thereafter, I have been using 7100 10w40 since 2500 km.

I have made my debut in high way with KPR since 1510 km and still enjoying the experience of riding at different road and high ways. I have travelled lot went to Bandarban, Ali kadam, Cox’s Bazar, Sylhet, Barisal, Borguna, Ptuhakhali, Rayenda, Soronkhola, Sajek , Bagerhat, Noakhali, Mymensingh etc. I have ridden around 20000 km among them 14000 km in highway and rest of 6000 km within city.

Today I am going to share my KPR riding experience with you-

Headlight
It is a built-in 3000 thousand lumen LED projection light with amazing brightness at high and low beam. Among the several lights stock light is the best as well as parking light is also striking. That kind of stander you would only get in KPR and Pulser AS. Headlight shield is good enough strong to protect the main light from any unwanted situation.

Suspension
Suspension is very much responsible to ride smoothly. Like other bike KPR has front and rear suspension. Front suspension is strong enough to absorb heavy shock in the rough and tough road. I have driven lot at that types of road as well as made sudden break several time but never have had any frock leakage. In the case of rear suspension, it is a mono cross single shock absorber. Compare to front suspension its performance is not that level. Initially it was heard but gradually become flexible and enough to ride in rough road.

Breaking system
I am very much satisfied with breaking system. Front breaking is almost similar to FZ breaking system. Panic breaking system is work outstandingly and able to stop bike on the spot instantly. Rear break is also good though it does skid little bit in the hard breaking but control remain solid over the bike. Skid problem can be solved easily by only making change of tire. Worst part of this bike is stock breaking pad. It was very hard and only run up to 4000 km. Most of the KPR rider complained about that and company has been working on that.

Outlook
Nothing new to say about outlook we all know most attractive part of KPR is its outlook. This red color Lifan KPR is an amazing one to graph the attention.

Battery performance
Lifan KPR 150 has powerful 12 volt battery. It can be easily start with one shelf at any situation. It has good enough power to support all the electric features of the bike.

Turning radius
Turning radius is very low. It does not create any problem to drive in the narrow and jam road.

Engine is a sensitive part for any bike. In a word KPR has been proving best feel within limited budget. According to the company its bhp is 14.8 but to me its capacity is better than that. To adjust the time table only once have opened the head cover otherwise all remain same. Even after riding 20000 km clutch pleat is in perfect condition. Gear shifting was quite hard until 4000 thousand km but now it has become like IPL HUNK. Adjustment button is also given at the shifter form making adjustment to change smoothly. Compare to other Indian or Chinese model of 150 cc segments no one is capable to compete with KPR. Just beside the piston an engine lube injector is given to spray lube at the RPM. At any gear you can reach 11500 RMP. I have experienced average top speed 137 KMPH and sometimes up to 141KMPH. Actually speed depends on few factors such as bike condition, engine oil, fuel, road condition as well as blow of wind and surrounding situation. Due to have taint fuel engine stop frequently and acceleration and top speed become low. I have experienced maximum power at 6 gears.

Final words
It is obvious to have few problems in any bike. No difference in the case of Lifan KPR 150. This model has little problem at brake pad tire otherwise all is well. Rasel is working on gear shifting box which is good news for the KPR rider. Above all this is a wonderful bike to have in the journey. I am satisfied with my Lifan KPR 150..

Common Problem and solution of KPR
- Tank become very hot: to get out of this problem need to maintain some basic thing. Keep radiant fin vent clean and set RMP at 1000. In addition keep engine at shout down mood at jam.
- Problem in tire: set stock size tire and make sure about its sports bit and inner cut segment. I have been using Pirelli brand. Performance and control has improved after changing tire but top speed has reduced.
- Disk break problem: To get better control change both braking pad.
- Engine oil: Use 4T type engine oil of any renowned brand. In the case of minarel use 20W40 and use sinthatik 10W40.
- Gear shifting problem: there is a adjuster between shifter and gear Shafter is given for making any adjustment. You can tight it up for better performance.
- Uncomfortable in rough road: adjust tire passer both at font tire and rare tire. Make it 25 and 35.
- Which chain is better to use: you can try RK SSS 428 (128L). Chain selection is very important in the case of KPR. To get better performance always use lube in the chain.
- Rear suspension: Trigger can be set but to me stock is better than trigger. To get better response you can increase one step.
