Low comfort to ride – TVS Stryker user Jalal Hossain

Motorcycles are one of the most popular vehicles in Bangladesh and I think the necessity of this thing is remarkable in our daily life. Sometimes I think no bike no traveling. According to me it would be better if a bike is placed at every house for riding. A bike is really helpful for everyone. Though few bad sides are also there but it is required for better traveling experience. Enough of talking let me introduce myself first. My name is MD. Jalal Hossain and I do business for my livelihood. For completing my family and business works I use motorcycle every day. For fast and better communication I always prefer a bike and I use it for many days passed. Six month ago I bought TVS Stryker 125cc and after purchasing this bike I have traveled 7000 kilometers with it. Before this bike I have used two more bikes but those were not from the showrooms. Today I am thanking team motorcycle valley because through them I am expressing few of my sayings or experiences with my bike. Hope my sayings and findings will be at help for those whom are thinking to buy a commuter bike.


I want to start with the engine side of my bike because engine is the most important part of a vehicle. Six months have passed but till now I haven’t faced any problem with the engine. Engine sound is also perfect and no extra or bad noise is hared till now. I am enjoying the performance of the engine, fast acceleration, no extra heating and good power.

I love the color black and I always wanted to have a bike with the combination of black and red. One day I pay a visit to the TVS Showroom and like the design of this bike. I really like the seating position of this bike. Because it is long and can carry two pillions along with the rider. This was also my big reason to buy this bike. Because I can ride with two more people with me so I can easily move with my family at this bike which I really like. So I must say it offer great comfort for me.

Handle bar of this bike is also placed perfectly and offers relaxed riding. But after riding a long path with this bike I feel pain in my hands. In one day I traveled almost 120 Kilometers with this bike and I gathered this experience of pain from there. As I said this bike can easily speed up and I so I have good speed during my rides at the highways though I never tried to speed up my bike over 80 KM/H. electrical support of this bike is good enough because I good great light from the headlamp at the night journeys. Switches are also placed well at the handle bar and easy to use. On the other side suspensions of this bike is not that much effective according to me because I haven’t found that much comfort at the off kind of road. I think because of the suspension I feel back and wrist pain. This bike has well placed looking glasses which are able to offer me good view of my back side. So overall I think I am getting good performance from this bike because I bought the other two bikes second hand. Both t the village and city roads I am having good performance.

When I bought this bike the showroom owners told me that I will get good mileage and I am getting that. I am totally satisfied with the mileage because I am getting 50 KM/L mileage and at the high ways I am getting 60 KM/L mileage which is really great as 125cc bike. I have a small complain with this bike and that is the price. Based on the performance and feature the price is little bit high I think.

For two days I visited the servicing center and after visiting them I am pleased because they are well behaved, they have good workers and equipment and also good environment. I faced little bit of problem with the brakes and they fixed it so well. So I am pleased with them.

Till now I haven’t targeted any bike after I will be done using this bike because I love the performance of this bike. So I any one wants to have this bike then they can definitely go for it. It offers good mileage and overall performance.

Good sides of this bike:
It has good seating position and controlling, better design at this segment, powerful engine and performance, fast acceleration and good looking glasses.
Bad sides of this bike:
Poor suspension and braking quality, high price based on the performance and features.
