My name is MD.Tanvir Rahman and I am from Bagha, Rajshahi. At present I am studying at political science department at Rajshahi Collage. Today I am here to share my five thousand kilometers riding experience with Honda Dream Neo.
Suspensions:
Front suspensions of this bike works perfectly and I feel good when I hit the brakes. The rear one is little bit harder but it also offers me relaxed riding experience. One good thing I get from this bike the cornering. Though the tyres are thinner but because of the MRF tubeless tires I can have good cornering and they offer me good gripping as well.
Mileage:
At the village roads I am getting 63-66 KM/L mileage, at the highways 70 KM/L, at the city roads I am getting 56-62 KM/L. So on average I am getting 64 KM/L mileage and I am happy with it.
Handling:
Because of the light weight and higher handle bar in position this bike can be handles easily and I will say this bike is the best handling bike among its own segment.
Engine and gear box:
It has four gears and all are up. Gear shifting is smooth and it is like the other Honda motorcycles. But sometimes I heard a noise when I shift the fourth gear to third but I don’t think it is a matter to worry about. Engine gets heated but not that much which will bother a rider. Without that I cannot say that much about the engine because this bike is at 5000 kilometers only.
Performance of the engine:
It has one cylinder, two valves and 8.23 BHP max power. Till now I have got 95 KM/H top speed. The same engine is used at the Honda Livo so the power delivery is excellent then the other bikes. It has good pick up response from low end to mid range and I have to say best in class. I can easily ride 70-80 Kilometer with this bike and I feel good comfort too.
Brakes:
Both side of this bike has the same brakes of 130MM drum. While sudden braking conditions the rear tire skids sometimes but if I hit the both brakes together then this bike stops smoothly. But I personally like to use the front brakes. If you know the way to use the disc brakes and apply it like the same then the front suspension response will also make you satisfy.
Problems:
- Sometimes I think this bike is extremely light weighted.
-At the highways big vehicles don’t cares.
- Little bit of noise is heard from the chain set.
- Average looking.
- Rear suspension is harder so does the seat.
- Seat height is higher.
- Headlight power is sufficient but it is connected with the throttle which is irritating.
Good sides:
- Offers excellent mileage.
- Proper handling.
- Fun to ride this bike.
- Overall excellent performance.
- Perfect build quality.
- Good pickup response.
- Low maintenance cost
Thanks for reading, be safe ride your way safe.
