Maisha Tasnim unhappy with build quality of Mahindra Rodeo RZ

I am Maisha Tasnim, a student of Varendra University of Rajshahi. It was something like my dream to wonder with a bike. It become large when I admitted in the university and the main reason to have this bike is to communicate easily in the university same time to have safe personal vehicle I purchased “Mahindra Rodeo RZ” scooter. From the last 3 years I have spread my wings in the whole Rajshahi even in the border district as well. The experience I have gained from this bike, I am feeling free to share that through “MotorcycleValley” and I hope you people will be with me.

Scooter is not so common in Rajshahi. When I was interested to have my one, showrooms don't have the variety of scooter as I was looking for. “Mahindra Rodeo RZ” somehow got my attention to it and I purchased it without any major thinking. It is better to mention that, this one is my first bike.



When I purchase this one, its color was white; later, I give it some Blue on it. Next I modified it with Red. Its design and structure is good to me. As to say about the negative sides, the plastics used in the body of this bike are seriously low in quality. I have to see something broke whenever it falls same time, parts are not available in the market as well.

This scooter has 125cc engine which is powerful enough and effective for my run from my view. In the last 3 years I have traveled more then 10,000 kilometers and the engine has served me nicely in this period of time but the engine got got and emerge some irritating noise in the long ride.




As I am using this one from the last 3 years so I can say this one is well enough comfortable and I don't face any serious negative thing of this one. Its braking is good enough but the suspension is little bit hard which make feel the shake of the rough road.

Its fuel expense make feel bad as the showrooms technicians claimed that this will serve the mileage of 60 kilometer per liter but in that time its service was 40 kilometer per liter and now it is 30-35 kilometer which is painful for me.

Technicians of the servicing centers are sincere enough but parts are not available by which it takes time to serve a major problem up to 1-2 months.

Negative sides:
- Build quality is not so good
- Low mileage
- Engine noise
- Hard suspension
- Spare parts are not available

My cordial request to the company to be serious about the problems and make available the spare parts. Beside these, it would be better to have tubeless tyres. There could be chance to choice my favorite color if variety of colors are available. I wish to have a scooter from TVS or Honda in future.
