Price is too high - Suzuki Intruder user Sojol Hasan

My name is Sojol Hasan and I am a motorcycle lover. I always love to wonder with the motorcycle wherever I go. If any bike comes new in the Bangladeshi market I always try to be the first one to have a ride over it even try to purchase that one. It is good to mention in the same time that I almost have ridden all the motorcycle whichever comes to Bangladesh once. I learned to ride bike when I was in class 7. It’s been a long time since I learned to ride motorcycle near about 10 – 12 years ago. In the history of my motorcycle riding, I learned riding through the Bajaj Pulsar. After then currently I am using one of the peculiar motorcycle in Bangladeshi market “Suzuki Intruder”. Meanwhile I have ridden the bikes like “Suzuki Gixxer”, “Gixxer SF”, “Fazer”, FZS” and so many others.

The main reason to choose this one because this one is the first one which has the most exceptional look that ever any bike has. As I have mentioned in the first part that my hobby is to ride the new bike so I made my decision with this one. This motorcycle muscular body, ABS braking system and others exciting features make me weak to this one. So I decided to purchase this motorcycle. So far I have ridden this motorcycle around 1200 kilometers and I am here to share my experience with all of you guys via MotorcycleValley. I hope you are going to be benefited enough from this one to make a perfect decision if you are thinking to purchase a same category bike.

On the matter of design, Intruder is Unique why because this one has the look of Modern Cruiser. Through the body kit this one is look like heavy and muscular but the part in which the handlebar is positioned, from a far away general people think like this one is a battery bike. My comment on this matter is, if I have to listen such comment from the general people then why should I purchase this bike in this high price range. This really makes me feel sorry to my motorcycle. Ignoring this part, there is one more side of this bike makes me feel good; it is its headlight which is totally different from the common pattern.

At first stage I was in tense with the plastic parts of my motorcycle why because most part of my motorcycle is made with the plastic and there is an easy chance of broke or damage in such a lite accident which may damage the real beauty of my motorcycles. But just after using this one for a while, I come to understand that its plastics are really up to the mark and thee are going to support for a long time. I don’t even sense any bad noise from the plastic parts of my bike till now.

Seating position is very much comfortable and I am very much charmed with the seating position while riding this motorcycle. On the other hand, handlebar is excellently adjusted with the seating position and this is why, I hardly feel anything wrong with the seating position or the handlebar while riding my motorcycle but footrest is set away from the seating position which is ok for those who are tall in height but this tough for the low height person to maintain the proper balance over this one. I have ridden my motorcycle 200 kilometers in a day at a stretch and I can’t sense any problem on the matter of comfort in my motorcycle.

Headlamps light is pretty good from the others bike but its meter console and others electrical features are from the Gixxer series. As because they calling this bike as a Modern Cruiser so I think this one is ok from this point of view. Same time, its stock horn, indicators sound and others parts are clear enough but there are some parts which I think can be improved from the current form.

As to talk about the Engine of this bike then at first I want to say that this bike has the Engine of Suzuki Gixxer’s which can produce the same power and torque. Engine is supporting me finely till now. Engine hardly become over heat and its throttle response is very much perfect with its size. On the other hand, Engine’s sound is deep which is pretty exciting to hear.

This bikes size is long and wide and its control is up to the mark. Even I never feel any hesitation while riding this motorcycle in 90 kilometers per hour speed of losing the control over this one. Once I was riding this motorcycle over sand and I thought this one is going to skid as others bike do but this Intruder gone over the sand smoothly. In a word, its control is really charming enough according to its size.

Braking system is very good. This one’s braking system is making me feel exciting which hardly I can feel from the others bike I ridden so far. As because this bike has ABS braking system and this is the reason of having less chance to skid and its braking system become powerful enough.

Suspensions are up to the mark as well. While riding others bike on the rough road, I have to feel a lot of shake but I hardly can sense the condition of the road when I am over this motorcycle. Even I feel quite smooth having a pillion on my back.

In my point of view, tyres size is good enough according to this motorcycle. Others bike of same size has wide tyres and my one has almost the same tyres. Same time, tyres gripping ability is pretty good and this is the reason I can’t feel any skidding due to less gripping ability.

On the matter of mileage, I think this one taking high fuel and so far I can measure my motorcycle, this one serving me near about 40 kilometers or so mileage but I am happy with its mileage range why because this range is very much normal according to its size.

I have purchased this one from “K R Bike Center” located in Ranibazar of Rajshahi city. I have been their once to serve my motorcycle. At the same time, I found them quite adapted with their work and they are very much sincere to each of the customers in my point of view.

My motorcycles price is 3, 25, 000/- BDT and I am not so happy to have this bike in this high price why because, it’s features, performance and others parts are not matching with the price range of this one. I personally think, this is the key reason of its low selling rate. I think it would have been better if this motorcycle’s price could reduced in an ideal scale and improve some its parts then its demand and sell both are going to reach in high level. I hope, company will consider the proper steps on the following matters.

These are all from me about my “Suzuki Intruder” and 1200 kilometers riding with it. These all are totally my personal opinion which I have felt so far. I have shared all those information which I have felt in my motorcycle till now. I am not going to stop changing my motorcycle, if a new bike comes to the market then I going to purchase this one again and I am going to compare that one with all of you guys. I want to urge all of you to wear helmet whenever you ride your motorcycle. Always remember, whenever you go out of your home, your family and your special person keep watching in your way and wish you to come back safely. You should ride your motorcycle by having these words in your mind.
