Quality of service center should be improved – TVS Apache RTR 160 user Noyon

I have started my bike riding with TVS Metro 100 and it was also my first bike and one of the most loving one as well. After learning bike riding I used ride with great pleasure at both village and city roads. After riding this bike for many days I was getting bored to ride a 100cc bike and though I might increase the cc of my bike. As we all know there are no limits of human demand but according to my demands I found a bike and that is called TVS Apache RTR1 60. Though this bike just arrived at the local market but the looks remain the same as the previous RTR 150cc model. Before I bought this bike I laterally thought that this new name is just for show the bike is the same. When I started using this bike I feel also the same and I personally think there are no bike differences between these two models RTR 150 and RTR 160. Though the company claims that both bikes have some technical differences but I personally assume it is not.

I am MD Noyon Ali and I am a student at this moment. Today I am thanking team motorcycle valley for creating me an opportunity to express my saying about this bike. Now I am going to share all of y good and bad findings of this bike and hope you guys will stay with me till the end.

Engine
Talking about the engine I must say that I am having the same feeling which I acquire from the previous 150cc RTR. But I have found slight changes at the performance and it is really has fast acceleration and it offers good power whenever I need. So in one word it the engine is really a beast.

Design
I really like the design of TVS Apache and it is from the first when I saw this bike. Though I think the design should be more muscular r different as this is a 160cc bike but I am not disappointed because I just said how much I like the design of RTR. Overall design and graphics with the muscular tanker and excellent color combination makes the bike attractive. Alongside the design if I have to talk about the build quality of this bike then I must say it is really strong and durable. I have seen the longevity of the body parts at different circumstances and I really think the body is really long lasting. I am pleased with both.

Comfort
At this side I am saying this bike is standard because the combination of the handle bar and the riding seat is not perfect for the long height riders. I personally think they will not be comfortable on this seat for long time and they will feel pain in their hand and back. Though I haven’t faced any back pain problem but at the long journeys I felt a little bit. So TVS Apache RTR is not that much comfortable bike I guess.

Headlamp and electrical
At the night time my bikes headlamp provides great power and so that I can easily see everything comes from the front side. I have never faced any troubles because of the headlamp till now. On the other hand the other electrical parts are also well performing and the user switches of them are also good looking.


Control
After using this bike I realized the controlling is not up to the mark. Because when I grab the handle bar I surely feel that this bike is heavier at the front side and for that it creates trouble while I need to control the bike at tough situation both at the city and highways. This bike really vibrates a lot at the high speed, I personally raised the sped 85 KM/H and I felt great shaking on that time and I cannot raise the speed more. Braking system must be improved more I personally think because while braking the tyres skids sometimes but the tyres are well gripped on the other terms. If the suspensions were more effective then I might fell mush better to ride on the broke down roads or that kind of situations. On the whole the controlling is average but there are lots of spaces to improve at this side.

Mileage
One of the major issues in our country of a bike is the mileage. I am getting around 35-40 KM/L mileage from this bike. As a 160cc bike I think the mileage is perfect because to run this kind of beast you need to waste some fuel surely.

Service center
I always prefer servicing my bike at the official service point of TVS. After having their service I think they are not up to the mark which I expected. They must improve their service quality and especially the technicians need to be more careful about the users.

Price
I will definitely say that the price is higher than the features and their performance and another thing is they kept the model same but increase the price. I will recommend maintaining the same price as 150 models.

Finally I will say I didn’t liked few things about this bike and the most important one is the price, I will recommend to the company for reducing the price as much they can.
